I was recently at the River View Tavern to buy some takeaway beer and was served by the rudest person. I thought the publican should be welcoming to all patrons.Won't be going back in a hurry.Needs an attitude change.

Bar lady extremely rude from the moment we walked in, swearing in conversation with bar flies . spraying fly spray in kitchen while food was being prepared. Dining room filthy with many many bugs/dead flies on window sil, food was not nice we will never be back avoid!!!

Visited Jan 11, 2022.Wish I'd read the other reviews. Rocked up Tuesday to a rude greeting. Ordered drinks and, when I asked for a menu was told they don't do lunch Monday Tuesday. Smokers at the tables directly outside the front door. Won't be back.

Pretty rough! Had a beer here just to check the place out. Chickens running around my feet, broken beer bottles in the carpark & ....the list goes on. Needs a bulldozer IMHO. There's better areas in Telegraph Point to build a nice pub that people from out of town would be interested in dropping into. I wanted to like the pub BTW.

Rare that I can't find much positive about a place but have been here a few times and constantly let down.. the manager is rude, totally unprofessional and verbally challenged (both socially and emotionally)The younger women are lovely despite their bosses attitude and manner.Will be back when under new management
