Where to begin, the food was hands down the best meal I have ever had at Port Douglas. The service was exceptional from the young man who placed our reservation, to the lady who swerved us all night. We enjoyed our meal and evening so much, that we booked to come back 2 nights later to celebrate my mums 73rd birthday as she hasn’t stopped talking about how good the barramundi was. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed the calamari and scallop entrees, the snapper main was also very yummy. Staff were polite and friendly despite the heat! Would go back again.

From the moment we walked in until we left the whole experience was wonderful, loved everything about it. Entree’s of scallops and large tiger prawns, mains were fillet steak and Barramundi. Dessert we shared the chocolate plate. Could not fault any of the food all beautifully cooked. The best dining experience for our stay of a week in Port Douglas. When we return this will be our first booked restaurant. Great service as well. Well done to everyone.

Wonderful experience at wrasse and roe restaurant the last night.- coconut ceviche : really fresh, nice flavours and the wasabi crispy beans peps the meal. ❤️- seared scallops : the combination of cauliflower, truffle oil and crispy pancetta is amazing ! I will definitely go back there to order the scallops again ! ❤️❤️❤️- beef eye fillet : the meat was so good and cooked like I like ! ❤️Wine : ❤️❤️❤️ garden of Eden Shiraz

Amazing Food! The crab was definitely the highlight of our meal! 10/10!Best restaurant I have been too thus far! Would highly recommend to anyone! Worth every penny

Had the seafood platter for two, yes very pricey but a lovely selection of hot and cold seafoods of excellent quality and preparation. Also had the shared desert platter equally enjoyable with delicious flavours.Only gripe, the Morten Bay bugs had soft flesh, not firm and chewy like a fresh bug.Still strongly recommend.

We had a lovely dinner dinner at Wrasse & Roe with the calamari and scallops as entrees. Tasty and well cooked. We had the whole barramundi, saffron risotto and seafood marinara for our mains and of the three, the marinara was our favourite, super tasty and full of seafood. The barramundi looked impressive but the sauce was a little overpowering and fish cooked a little too much. The risotto was nice but did lack a little flavour. The service was great and the ambiance was lovely, definitely worth a visit.

Hands down the best steak I've had in a long time, I mean this was melt in your mouth buttery. Green beans and peas were cooked to perfection. My wife had the pork cutlet which was also very very tender and super flavorful. I'm hoping to go back there before I leave. By far the best meal I've had in Australia to date. The staff were very, very attentive but not overbearing, the restaurant very clean and modern with an open kitchen. Mixed drinks were quite tasty. It is a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and it was worth it.

Outstanding. Went here twice on our trip. Moreton Bay Bugs incredible. Same with Tiger Prawns, Wagyu beef and Lamb Loin. Highly recommend.
