Was nice place 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining, bathroom, 2 x toilets, lounge room(tv, dvd's and player), electric fire place, bbq area on deck all in all nice place nice and simple

Great place for families.Loads for the kids to do. Not what you will see in the glossy photos, as it has deteriorated considerably since they were taken. Some due to storm damage still being repaired via insurance. Mould in some areas. Not a four or 5-star resort, but if I still had young kids I would consider going again.There is a billiard and table tennis table in the games area. Gym equipment is in a bad way, but you could do a workout of sorts. Spa and sauna are not in use (CoVID, apparently). Loads of computers and games along with DVDs. A stack of bikes and helmets for the kids to ride around on. A tree house that looks very unsafe (boys will probably love it, but in danger of collapse, I think). Basket ball court.The donkeys, horses, cows, ducks, and chickens are friendly which the kids will love.Great views. Units are transportable. Heating and all the essentials are provided. Extras include a washing machine and powder, a dryer, clothes linea, and pegs. BBQ, TV, DVD player. Comfy beds.Excellent staff who go the extra mile for you. Day one we found fridge not working. Staff made space in their fridge for us and day two new fridge installed and all our food was moved into it. Can't beat that. Loads of helpful tourism advice.Dial down the expectations and this could well be a good family holiday spot.

Do not bring your kids there.We stayed two nights in this accommodation. They are spacious, cosy and comfortable.However, I wouldn't recommend this place for more than a few nights. The whole place need maintenance, everything is broken or damaged and not very tidy. The kitchen equipment is in very bad condition.I would be terrified to leave kids running around, there is a crazy amount of hazards around the place.It's a shame, this place has so much potential, the garden looks like it used to be beautiful, if only it didn't look like a landfill. The lady at the reception is lovely and willing to help, I really hope the place will get better.

Absolutely amazing place to stay.Great location and sceneryClose to cradle mountain which is why we stayed here.The hosts are simply the best. Very informative and so helpful.

Beautiful views in a very central location to visit different high country highlights. House was rustic but cozy with everything one could need. The views from the deck are breathtaking scenery of Mt Roland and more. Haven't had such a stunning BBQ spot in my life. To top it all of and make it even more special we had a number of animal visits, especially the donkeys and horses right at the back of the house were perfect for the kids (and us) and made it all the more memorable! Thank you.

Dad’s Cottage was cosy. Good location. Host was business-like. The place is run down and badly needs some upkeep and maintenance. The outdoor furniture was not usable. There’s a reason why owners don’t post many pictures online. We cooked a few meals here so the kitchen was adequate. Beautiful views. Conveniently near to Sheffield.

The place has so much potential but is VERY run down, gardens need a good tidy. Not the cleanest either. All under the bed was dusty, and kitchen area dirty. It's a shame it's gone too far. Games room area is unsafe.

It's close to cradle mountain, and a lot of fun for kids like farm animals, soccer field. The room is big, cozy and with a decent backyard. But some facilities like bikes, basketball court need some maintenance.

Beautiful accommodation, amazing staff, and was greeted by miniature donkeys and horses. The only problem was i had to leave. Awesome place, will definitely go again.

We stayed in the T-Tree house. It was fairly clean and tidy on the inside. But the grounds overall were very overgrown and lots of things needed a lot of maintenance. Would not recommend.
