Beware of Ben O'Brien, RE agent when selling or purchasing a property!!! The most unethical agent I have ever come across. Do not deal with him as he takes advantage of people and plays with people's lives. He thinks he is God!!!Last week he almost left my 88 year old father without a roof over his head. My father and I wanted to purchase a property from him but had to sell our own first. He led my father to believe that dad had the purchased unit in the bag and sold his own. 2 hours before the end of cooling off period was to expire on our sold property, he told us that we have missed out on the purchase of another. Basically, leaving my 88 year old father on the street and nowhere to live.He had no remorse, no care factor at all. It was inhumane and unforgivable. Innocent people cannot be treated like that. My father nearly had a heart attack as a result. I know personally at least 6 or 7 people who have been treated the same or worse. RE Licensing Board is my next port of call. I will not leave this alone.This is no reflection on Harcourts Coast as a business, just a rotten egg in the mix.
