Shadetec have just installed Ziptrac blinds on or pergola . The pergola is totally out of square but you wouldn't know it because they have just done an amazing job on the install there is one area when the pavers are a lot lower on one side I Called Shane and he is going to add a flap on the bottom of the blind to help disguise the problem free of Charge ! Great service and quality product .

I've used Shade Tec twice now. Their pricing is second to none. However, on the first installatuon I had to wait several weeks for a small additional peice of shade cloth to be installed to finish the job. On the second occasion I had some storm damage to the blinds. Also advised that I wantes to upgrade to electric. Initial contact for repair was fine but then no contact at all!?! Contacted 3 or 4 times after with no reaponse. I think they are simply too busy ... but, hey!

At least the blinds are good, but everything else was appalling. I had to tell the installer how to put them up. his idea was to block out half our view. Then I had to provide additional tools out of my shed....then had to hold them up for him. At the first sight of a breeze, the blind pulled away from the wall and became jammed in December. He had installed small green plugs more useful for hanging a picture. It took at least 20 phone calls to get them back for a repair in May. Yes that,s 6 months to repair their mistake. The receptionist Ange is the rudest person I and my wife have ever experienced representing a company. The boss Shane isn,t much better. As a final insult, they sent the same idiot out to do the repair.....and he had to make 2 trips because he forgot to bring a part with him. Never again....hopefully nothing else goes wrong. I'm not surprised Flair dropped them.

Special thanks to Bob for coming out to do the measure and quote on two occasions, and especially to Shane (and assistant!) for doing a great job and for providing such a great solution at a good price. I am really pleased with my awnings; they've made an enormous difference to my home, inside and out.

Fantastic job done by Dave, the finished job looks great. Considering that the area that I needed covered was not square, he persevered until the end result looked great. Thanks again Dave, job well done.

Do not go electric option. it is a trouble, i have learnt that lesson. My frieds have the manual option it looked ok, i went motorised option and it gets stuck . They come and loosen it, then it works for while. again a week later it is bad, there is no manual overide option in it , if ever motor stops working one day or power fails , i will have half down blind. That is a bad design(if i design it , I will do aoption to disengage the motor an release it, electric gates can do it why not this product?) Now it is 3 years, wasted over 2 thousand dollars . Messed up useless, i have to get another brand.

Installer left filthy hand prints all over the cream colourbond, grinder damage on the posts from removing post shoes. owner cut me off mid feedback. didn't want to hear anything i said. will say i swore at him, that's why he didn't want to listen. i swore after the fact out of frustration at him fobbing me off totally. Really amateur business.I actually said im not ringing to get money just give feedback. Got cut off after i said money and was told im not giving you money. Pretty much don't want any feedback from customers at all
