Scotchmans Hill Winery

We had a very enjoyable lunch here mid-week. The venue is very well set up for dining as well as wine tasting. The dining area is al fresco with a covered roof that lets through filtered light and some tables also have umbrellas if the sun is too intense. there are no walls and the breeze from the bays is pleasingly refreshing. The service is good and the staff friendly. We ate Atlantic salmon kibbeh, with Smokey Baba Ghanoush, Pomegranate, La Boquera Chorizo, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Soft Pita. / Lakes Entrance scallops with Herb Crumb, Wasabi, Aioli and Green Apple Slaw./ these were followed by a salad of smoked duck breast with crisp pancetta, mixed leaves, macadamia nut, puy lentils, Orange and horseradish kewpie mayo , and flash fried seared calamary with fregola, cherry tomato, green olives, confit garlic and roquette, The duck was outstanding

Fantastic group wine tasting, we enjoyed the experience and bought a lot of wine because it was very good! Mark was a great host, very busy but looked after everyone.

Really great lunch and the staff and customer experience was impressive on a very busy day. We did the wine tasting as well and Mark walked us through the stories aligned to the different wine ranges. We'll be back again but definitely recommend this amazing winery if you are in the Bellarine region.

Impromptu visit - We booked for a tasting and ended up getting lunch.The place was so quaint and the weather was nice and mild that it just added to the ambience.Abbey was so warm and helpful that it made the experience better. She was very knowledgeable and gave us some colour to the history of the place and each wine, vintage and brand we tasted as well.We had lunch and that was such a delight as well. Lots of options and they all looked good. The bistro was quiet enough for a nice lunch even if there were groups of people around too. They set the venue up well.We will definitely be back!

Amazing wines. Loved the fact the cellar door has seating as well.Made the tasting a lot more enjoyable.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of Victoria, I ventured out to see some wineries in this region. The 6th stop of the day had the pleasure of coming here just manging to sneak in on time before venue closing hours, Gabby was kind enough to pour me a glass, so I could soak up the lovely venue.

I was taken out to lunch at Scotchmans Hill Winery today. Staff 5/5 food 5/5. A great meal, wine and the staff were very attentive. Thank you Ruth and her staff, chef Hamish Hames and my friend Noeline for treating me to lunch. I could not complain about a thing and I am usually picky"."

Beautiful setting for lunch, grounds are well kept and the lunch was delicious. We will definitely return. It was nice that they welcomed the whole family including the dog. Great winery and it’s local to us.
