It was my first experience of Iraqi food and it was amazing! Tried Shawerma on rice.. sounds just 1 dish, right?? It came in 2 plates and a basket. It had Okra Stew and Pickled Veges on 1 plate, a huge plate of rice, Shawerma meat and sliced tomatoes on another and freshly baked Iraqi bread in the basket. First thought by mistake they gave me so much but I laughed when they said it's all for me.. ofcourse had to pack a lot back home. all food ingredients felt super fresh and of great quality. 1 less star coz the review is from a heavily chilli eating person. Will carry some in my purse next time.Will surely go back again to try the all day breakfast menu.

If you ever want to try Iraqi cuisines, this is your go-to place. I had never tried Iraqi food before, but I had heard about Al Tanoor from my friends. This is my first experience of Iraqi food and it was amazing! We almost tried everything, from main dishes to desserts. They make the Iraqi bread freshly in the restaurant, all food ingredients felt super fresh and of great quality. Their skewered minced beef was superbly cooked, par excellence! I always thought Iranian skewered minced beef is the best, until I tried the Iraqi ones here.

Affordable for what they give. Great variety Iraqi/Middle eastern food. Went in as a family of 8. Mixed dishes. Meat cook through but doesn't feel heavy. Am satisfied and full but don't feel bloated. Casual dining atmosphere. We love the soft bread served as an appetizer with 4 different dips. Would have liked yhe food to be served hotter but we're sitting next to the door and even though it's served grill to table even in a few mins, it got cool really fast. Maybe they could keep the plates warm for service. Still, 5 stars. 1 star for good decent prices. 1 star for good service. 1 star for good food. 1 star for good variety. 1 star for good atmosphere. I got to come back and try more stuff.

Nice and clean place. Good food and good service.- UPDATED REVIEW -Have changed from 4 stars to 5 since visiting. Meals were crazy delicious and the portion sizes are VERY generous. Eggplant salad is out of this world :)

After reading amazing reviews went there to have an absolutely disappointing experience. My meal was flavourless and stale. My mix kebab was dry and old, meat on the grill was not fresh at all and rice was undercooked. Won’t be back and won’t recommend as I got the most simple dish yet it was a fail.

Super clean and tasty food! We went as a group of 4 for a Saturday lunch at around 1pm. Tables available and unfortunately servers have their hands full so you will have to keep flagging them down but in terms of food, it was fantastic! We got the Iraqi kebabs (Sheesh kebab), shawarma wrap W fries and shawarma on rice with the okra stew! Perfect amount of food and keen to come back to try out the Shawarma W eggs which seemed popular for brunch!

Dirty tables and chairs tells you about deficiency of the service staff. Not enough workers will get the state of the good looking place to a filthy looking venue. One young girl serving and there were at least 15 people getting served. I wiped my table but made sure my elbows were not resting on it. Food is good.
