Worth the drive! Best little butcher in the district, their meat never disappoints. Salami Beer Sticks Are a personal favourite.

Fantastic little butcher in South Johnstone that we visited on a recommendation from our friends while traveling through - appart from what appeared to be a great selection of meats, including plenty of grass fed beef, the small goods where fantastic - the smell of the smoked foods as you come into the shop is just wonderful. Friendly service. The place looks almost derelict for the outside, but he inside and the products are brilliant. We spent the next 5 days driving back South through rural QLD enjoying a large choice of hams, salami’s, prosciutto and more - cant wait to have a go at the streaky bacon we brought home with us.

The best selection of fine meats and small goods in Far North Queensland. My personal favourite is medium Spanish salami (deeelish) and you cannot go past the double smoked pork chops! Well worth the short drive from Innisfail. You cannot miss the Yellow and Black butcher shop in South Johnstone. I also heard from a little birdy the shop owner/operator Wally is a keen Richmond supporter and the shop colours were inspired by his favourite team!

While travelling from Paronella Park we stopped at this fabulous butcher. The meat was fabulous especially the meatballs in a marinade and the pork spare ribs. Well worth a stop.

As the name implies there is a complete range of Sausage's andSmallgoods that are manufactured on the premises.I purchased. the Christmas Leg Ham 6 years ago on a strong recommendation from Cairns & have followed with great satisfaction .As an ex Meat Inspector of 20 years I know quality.
