Bimbadgen Cellar Door

One of the greatest wineries in Hunter valley. Beautiful building and great views of the valley from the winery, sitting on top of the hill. The staff were friendly and professional. They have woodfired pizza and gelato on site. I tried their bubbly, Shiraz and Vintage Shiraz and end up buying all three. They were nice on the pallet and were amazing. Very neat and tidy winery and they had an amazing tasting area with separate room if you would like to book for a larger group. They do have a restaurant on site as well. There staff has great knowledge about the products range and it was a pleasure to be there. I will be back soon. Thanks for the great service and great wine.

Arrived there after noon without booking, luckily the staff is very nice and let me have their pizzas without any disappointment! 4 Cheese and Chicken Pesto Pizza are very recommended! @foodjournal_byjess

Lovely cellar door incorporated within an inside/outside eating area. We went in via the top entry to get a view of the 'work' area and the alcohol still...quite a sight! Yvette looked after us well and we enjoyed the visit. I'd recommend this cellar door...the wines are good and the welcome friendly.

One the best views we experienced in Hunter Valley. Lunch was fantastic, we didn’t get a chance to try the wood fired pizza, but it gives the outdoor terrace a relaxed and fun vibe. Highly recommend for tastings and lunch.

We had a good tasting experience at Bimbadgen! We tried the Growers degustation and it was good, however surprising to taste wine from other growers.The staff was nice and answered our questions.The area is amazing and a great place to spot kangaroos in the vines!

Purchased the Signature & Bubbles wine tasting experience. We want to thank Michelle from Bimbadgen, she is someone who goes above and beyond to explain the wine making process and expected tastes for new wine drinkers - definitely making the experience a lot more exciting. Lovely winery! We loved the tasting and our server was really lovely. I wish I could remember her name! The wines were outstanding and we really appreciated the accommodations made for the kids. We will be back!

When we arrived to the cellar door in relation to a confirmed online paid booking, it was very evident that the business was not organised for a 10am booking when we arrived. It appeared that we were not to be expected as they looked at the computer after acknowledging our entrance and conversation.We had booked two different online tastings for the same time in the same booking, we were then informed “we don’t usually do this” but when I asked, why was the service offered on the website, there was crickets of a response.I feel that the team member needed more training with confidence and product knowledge of the wines as some questions needed to be referred to another team member.The placement of the lounge under the window was unappealing as the window frame was filled with cobwebs, remove the lounge to enable customers to look outside out toward and over the vineyard please.

Lovely winery and fantastic tasting experience. We did the $20 tasting and it was well worth it! We got half a glass of about 10 wines, very good value and the lady talking us through them was very knowledge. Stunning grounds as well make for a great experience!!!
