Second time we've had a wedding in our family so I'm able to compare. Previous was not at this venue.Found Shambalah to be helpful and professional from day 1. We had a very short time frame to organise this wedding. Loved the venue for the reception. We had the octagonal building for the reception as we had a small wedding. It's beautifully decorated and lovely surroundings with airconditioning which was a must for us in January. Also easily accessible bathroom facilities for older guests. The Chapple is just beautiful for the ceremony and lots of beautiful areas for photos on the grounds.Vi was very helpful with sorting out some important last minute details.Steph and the team were on point the whole time. The food was delicious from the canapes through to the first and second courses of the reception. Entrees of Thai beef salad or smoked salmon and mini pancakes. Main was beef cheeks or lamb. There was a self-serve tea and coffee table set up.They also have some lovely cottages on the grounds. Some of the guests used these.Highly recommend Shambala as a venue. We had a fabulous wedding. Thank you to all involved...especially Steph, who was our main contact.

Loved coming to Shambala Estate! It is very obvious how well the owners looking after this property. It was overcast when we came there and even then every corner of this place looked spectacular.

Venue was amazing for what we were looking for.The food was very good.Drink service from the bar was good however we were not advised that the beer and wine was table service only.If we knew that either before our wedding began or early in the night we would have put an open bar tab on for all as the table service was very slow due to a lack of staff. We expected more staff to be on than there was on as I only saw about 5 including the bar staff, especially with over 90 people at more than $200 per head.I tried calling 4 times on the morning of the wedding and couldn't get through. The rooms were great for what our expectations were.Saying all that, this would be an outstanding venue with a few more staff.

Wedding venue for my niece. Very pretty place. Lovely chapel with traditional pews (yes it was a little church) to be married in settled in rainforest. Easy for bride and groom to enter. Theres vestry entry for any disabled people as there are some steps out front. Then into the wedding breakfast in a very elegant looking dining space. Outside area under cover where we had mimosa and canapes. Theres a little waterfall right there too.dining experience very good. 2 courses then wedding cake. Very nicely presented tables dressed beautifully for wedding. Highly recommend you consider this for your wedding. Or even a special birthday. Will post a few photos but none of the couple.

Cannot comment on their weddings, but their onsite cabins where beautifully appointed and private for ridiculously reasonable prices. The main business is wedding receptions, so midweek you can easily find yourself practically alone on their sprawling estate. The kookaburras that came to visit on our cabins balcony were a delight. This will be my go to spot for jaunts up to Tambourine.

Was wondering around mt tamborines and saw there is a wedding chapel outside this estate so decided to check it out.The view looks great though. The design looks nice and cozy. But haven got the chance so see the rooms yet so I have no comment about that. The chapel looks great from the outside! So if judge from the book cover, it looks good!

Completely, and utterly loved our wedding here. Everything ran so smooth on the day. It made for a wonderful stress free time. The venue was perfect for what we wanted, the food was amazing, and due to recent renovations, the accommodation in the villas were so peaceful and relaxed. Only advise I have for anyone having their function here, is to remember the bug spray :)

I had my wedding here in September and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The venue itself is absolutely lovely, well kept and comforting. We had our ceremony outside and it was beautiful. The reception was held in the pavilion room where every guest commented on how wonderful and pretty it was. The staff were incredibly helpful with their support and advice, they were kind and understanding, innovative and thoughtful. The food was delicious and everyone left feeling happily satisfied. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
