The Mark of Nara

I was tattooed at Mark of Nara in Mullumbimby by Dan. Dan gave me pre-care suggestions to make sure I was in a positive space energetically to recieve my tatu which I totally appreciate. He held such beautiful space for me and supported me throughout the design process to make sure I was connected to each part of the design over some tea. I felt comfortable, cared for and supported throughout the entire process. Very happy with the final result. The studio is also beautiful! Recommend Mark of Nara and Dan +++

I can’t put into words how special this studio is. From them moment I walked in, I felt at home. Getting a tattoo can be a serious, spiritual moment or a fun, silly moment and (for me) it this instance, it was both at the same time. Dan (the wonderful tattooist) made me feel at home, we talked through our design and he made sure I was happy with it (it’s bloody banging by the way!). He was beautifully patient and kind throughout my session and his empathy rocked me in the best way. It really was the perfect experience. I have quite a few tats now and this by far is my fav session. I can’t rate Dan highly enough!! Holy dooly - what an abso legend x

Going to Tasmania and being tattooed by Mark was a once in a lifetime experience . There is no better person to receive a tattoo from especially if this tattoo holds a special meaning or is to represent a moment in life . The consideration and intention he puts into making the tattoo experience unique and meaningful is truly genuine and heart felt . I recommend traveling to Tasmania to see Mark to everyone i meet .

I received a tattoo from Dan about 6 months ago at Mark of Nara in Mullumbimby. The entire experience was an absolute pleasure, I'm grateful for Dan and his professional and supportive nature. From designing, where we collaborated with my ideas and his skills, to the day of tattooing, where I felt safe and nurtured, to now where my tattoo has healed perfectly. I'm already looking forward to receiving another tattoo from Dan, highly recommend him and this studio.
