Raw Wing Chun

Raw Wing Chun is definitely a great place to send your children to learn Wing Chun.I take my 2 daughters to the 5-9 years old class. They enjoy every class and actually remember what they were taught. Sifu Ka Ming Yuen is very friendly and approachable. His classes are fun and interesting yet teaching them the actual Wing Chun principles and techniques. He is also very patient with the children he teaches.After seeing how good he was with teaching my girls I joined Raw Wing Chun class myself. Just after the first lesson I was more aware of my posture and after every class I feel like I have learnt something.

I have been to other well known Wing Chun schools for a few years before, but Sifu Ka Ming at RAW Wing Chun is one of the most professional and experienced in the art of Wing Chun. Don't let his young appearance fool you. He is definitely one of the most experienced Masters in Wing Chun today. He is well known in the Wing Chun circles over here in Sydney and in Hong Kong. If you ever wanted to genuinely learn Wing Chun properly, not just to how to defend yourself, but also the true core root of Wing Chun, definitely come along for the journey.

I was recommended Wing Chun, and Raw Wing Chun in particular, to improve the body mind connection and to counter stress. Sifu Ka Ming and his colleagues are incredible teachers who skill-fully and mindfully help you understand this powerful practice, and to reach very deep level of bodily awareness and relaxation in order to achieve actual force. It's like discovering a new dimension. Very cool. The place has a good vibe and it's an overall very friendly and open community.

Raw Wing Chun is a kung fu school with a mindful and friendly learning environment.Sifu Ka Ming is a high quality instructor who provides superb instructions which allow the students to evolve their understanding of body mechanics into ever deeper layers.Drills are thoughtfully-designed, fun and engaging. Sifu Kaming is much more than just a highly skilled Wing Chun teacher. He is a person who truly and passionately cares about the development of his students. I had the pleasure of training with and working along side him for 6 years in Hong Kong before he moved to Sydney so I saw how he works and treats people. I am so glad that I found RAW WING CHUN late 2018! Sifu KaMing, Rey and Albert are passionate about this gongfu and teach selflessly. Private lessons are always pitched at the right level to maximise learning. Group lessons are fun, positive and great opportunities to learn and improve on my current skill. I feel that I am constantly guided to develop further into this martial art, which has so much to learn and are enjoyable to learn. At RAW Wing Chun, I don't only learn gongfu, but it brings positive energy and good health too! Raw Wing Chun is a fantastic school!The school is a professional, friendly and inclusive environment. The Sifu is very experienced and knowledgeable. If ever you feel you aren't getting something, or feel you're not executing a technique properly, the Sifu will without hesitation take the time to help you get on the right track.I have trained at a few Wing Chun schools and club over the years. Join this Wing Chun School, if you are looking for learning the art in depth from one of the most passionate set of people you could find. The school is pretty friendly and relaxed thanks to Sifu Ka Ming and other instructors. Everyone is super cool yet serious about learning Wing Chun! Ka Ming takes great interest and exhibits exemplary patience in guiding everyone to become better and better! I am quite lucky to have found this place. I have completed 2 years and I look forward to another several more years to come by!

Raw Wing Chun is a great school to train in. I always feel a sense of being part of a larger family every time I go to class. The atmosphere is both peaceful and energetic. Having loved Wing Chun since I was a teenager, I am very happy that Sifu Ka Ming teaches in a way that embodies both principles and self-defense fighting skills.
