Still waiting on reimbursement from a not at fault accident in January.I was pushed into making a claim by the woman on the phone, which I now regret.I would have been better off repaiing it myself.If I had any other choice of insurer, I would not be with Shannon's.The car was hit by FedEx whilst parked on the street.Disgraceful service and ridiculous wait times.Was initially led to believe that I was at fault for having my car parked on the street.You should be ashamed of yourself Shannon's.

What a poor service, over 1.5hours to make a claim and we are still not done, funny how when its time to add a new car to the policy the call is answered promptly. To make matters worst a 3 month wait for an assessor to check a quote and that is only on-line not physically viewing the car.

TERRIBLE CAR INSURER!I am a car enthusiast and have been insured with Shannon’s for over 10 years. In March this year I was rear ended by a Ute at 60 - 70km/h. I was stationary when hit and driving a Toyota Yaris. To my disbelief after the car was assessed, it was approved to be repaired, with no comment on my concerns of safety or any form of damage report provided! Throughout this year I have been advised multiple dates of when my car will be ready and every time it gets pushed out with different excuses. I still don’t have the car back and got nowhere through their internal complaints process. I now have a case with AFCA. Once this nightmare is over and I get my car back (or it is written off, like it should have been from the start) I will be moving all of my car insurance to NRMA or another insurer NOT under Suncorp.Update: 1 year on from the car accident and still without my car…

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, I’ve taken out three policies with Shannons and it has been a seamless process. The ability to insure all your pride and joys at an agreed value is a big selling point.

My distressing experience with Shannon's home insurance after years of loyally paying premiums, never having made a claim, they increased their premiums by 25% over 2 years. I moved to NRMA. This experience has me questioning how trustworthy their motor insurance is, if I ever have to make a claim. Bad move Shannon's.

If you put goods for auction and then need to withdraw they still require you to pay the 8% of the “reserve price“. Last car I sold only made 50% of the reserve. No more.

They ask for your bank details, waste your time on the phone twice, and hr or so each time, then post you a cheque. It’s like you’re dealing with Telstra, only worse! It’s like they have no idea what they’re doing. If it wasn’t to serious it would be a joke.

Virtual hugs to The Shannons Team, the post office failed to deliver my CTP renewal form, call the Shannons Team as I was worried, and a nice lady fixed it up all over the phone within 8 minutes - not surprising I always insure my classic car with this company, I rest easy knowing they are with you and understand your car is your baby ! Excellence in customer service, knowledge of cars, policy details, competitive in pricing and just bloody nice people to detail with, god bless you all (100 Stars)

This insurance company was fantastic once upon a time . Ever since taken over from suncorp there is always high call volumes with high wait times everytime you call riddicolous . Been on the phone for 2hrs today 55mins to get through to a customer service rep & get cut off & you have to wait another 55mins after calling second time absolute joke 0 customer service .An insurance company that if you had several claims in five years which are unfortunately out of your hands & not in your control they will refuse to cover you . You will not meet criteria . Worst insurance company since been taken over from Aai / Suncorp . Not a company id recommend.A very dissapointing company to consider getting insurance with absolute pathetic , appalling service. I have been a customer of Shannons for approximately 10years & this ia the customer service you receive .

Was insured with Shannons for 30 years, I had my wife's car and my car in my name. We had a spate of accidents when my dad passed.. Quite a few...not huge.I can understand they don't want to insure me moving forward, but they did not notify me I have checked my phone (they reckon they SMS's me) . They revoked my insurance without putting it in writing, not even worth a letter... A phone call. They have blacklisted me and no other insurer wants to insure me.That's Un Australian, a dog act.. I've been driving my car for 8 month uninsured.Not the Shannons of old, I had LIFETIME no claim bonus. I guess not not throw me in the scrapheap at time of need.Booooooooooooo!
