Boat Ramp Motel

I suspect we chose the BRMotel for the same reasons as others. It was available and cheaper and in the area. Just a motel for overnight. Quiet and comfortable and clean. Shower pressure good. What else would you want?

A little much to pay for out dated room, but it was comfortable and friendly staff, getting into and out of the shower you need a step. Cobwebs over the bed on the ceiling.

Great staff.Good location.Clean but old rooms.Literally listening to the next rooms tv through a whole in the brick work.

Recently renovated swimming pool and outdoor BBQ area. Great for families and business stay overs.

Site - small complex so not many neighbours, was quiet when we visited for 2 nights. Nice local walks along riverside. Close to drive to beaches, lookouts and supermarket.Rooms - We had an updated family unit, so modern decor. Interesting ceiling material? Loose wires in an overhead light. Shower was large and hot with good shower head, great for after pool.Amenities - Wi-fi very weak at family unit end. Not useable. Hot tub was cold and bubbles worked 1 out of 20 times. Disappointing as heated pool and spa was a big decision in our choice.Service - check-in conducted over phone as per notice on reception window.

The location is great being so close to the Barwon River and the golf club. The draw card is the family BBQ and pool area. A great place to gather and relax.
