Authentic Italian cuisine served in a contemporary atmosphere. The service is pleasant, and the meal is delicious. The wait crew is Italian. Pizollo is the specialty, but everything is delicious. There is heated outside sitting.Come here every year and always good and service improving.

Great food great service, The gnocchi was one of my favorite meals. Along with a delectable sauce, they were incredibly fluffy and soft. It had great flavor. The portions were sizable, and you can see that the restaurant puts a lot of attention into its cuisine. Oh, oh!

Authentic italian cuisine in a modern setting. Service is friendly and food tasty. serving staff are italian. Pizollo is the specialty, but most items are amazing. There is outdoor seating with heaters.

The quality and flavour at Il Matto is unsullied. This restaurant was packed with people when I walked passed so I had to drop in the next day to see what all the fuss was about. And I was not disappointed. My favourite dish was the gnocchi. They were so fluffy and soft and paired with a delicious sauce. It was so tasty. The servings were a good size and you know this place puts a lot of love in their food. Yum yum!

I recently visited Il Matto at 3/15 Bell St, Torquay and had an absolutely incredible experience. The service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The food was exquisitely prepared, and each dish showcased the culinary expertise of the chef. I highly recommend Il Matto to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Torquay. Five stars all the way!

Food was slightly underwhelming. Undercooked pasta coupled with high pricing. However, that's not to say the food wasn't above average. Just below its price point. The meatballs were amazing, sauce and pasta however draw my rating back.Edit: I understand Il Matto's need to cater to paying their staff. However, they have failed to address the issue regarding the quality of the food. Which, again, does not seem to justify the price point.
