The staff seem friendly enough, the cafe isn't nice at all, very over priced, the chips my son got must have been made that morning, they were burnt and very dry so had to just throw them in the bin. If you are having to go there consider taking your own food to save yourself the waste of money and having to bin it anyways.

I went here for my epilepsy multiple times and I was treated very well by all members of staff. One time I was admitted after the dinner had been served and a nurse gave me her jam sandwich. I don't know who you are but I love you.

We are currently at the Childrens Hospital attending Andrews very last appointment and procedure here. This marks 19 years and 2 months within the childrens hospital system. Andrew having undergone countless procedures, surgeries, appointments and emergency visits.Andrew and I have so many memories here that only we share, thus creating a bond that is indescribable.Today, the smell of sanitiser and feel of a fresh warm blanket, spark haunting recollections of our fear, hardship and screams of pain. These feelings will forever be shared within our souls and the walls of this brightly coloured hospital. While at the polor, our hearts are perpetually filled with memories of not just good times, great times! Love and most of all gratitude.Goodbye to our home away from home. Thanking this government building, and all of whom that are within it.♡

I recently visited this hospital and was disappointed to learn that my son's medical records and documents were lost during the transfer from physical to digital storage. This is a frustrating and unacceptable situation, as it means that years of important medical information has been misplaced. In addition to this issue, I must also address the exorbitant cost of parking at this facility. At $18 per hour, it is truly astonishing that a hospital would charge such a steep fee to patients and their families. This is especially concerning for those who are struggling financially and may already be under a great deal of stress due to their medical concerns.Despite these issues, I must give credit where it is due. The care provided by the doctors and medical staff at this hospital was excellent. After a lengthy wait in the waiting room, we were finally able to see a doctor and receive the necessary treatment. For this reason, I am willing to overlook the aforementioned issues and give the hospital a rating of 3 stars.

After 2 weeks of GP negligence I presented with my 4 yr old at a different hospital. We waited as a category 2 case for 7 hours. We were both tired, emotionally drained and just felt so defeated. Eventually we were transferred to QCH via ambulance.Once we arrived it was a matter minutes and we were being seen by the wonderful emergency staff. I am heavily pregnant and the nurse was quick to ensure I had food and water for my unborn child’s health. We were only there maybe 10 minutes when the surgeon was already preparing the paperwork for surgery and informing me what was going to happen next. From the time we arrived to the time my son was in theatre was less than hour. There was no waiting, there was no mucking around. Once we were on the ward the staff sprang into action. We were both fed again and the staffwere continually asking if I would like to take a shower or go for a walk and they would watch my son so I could take a few minutes to myself. The food was amazing and the entertainment for the kids was great. When my son became overwhelmed by waiting to be discharged the staff wasted no time in having the dr come see him to be discharged for his mental health. Everyone really understood the needs of their patients and how that differs to an adult patient and they went above and beyond in every aspect of care. They also showed great compassion towards the parents and understood the frustration and helplessness that comes from being in a hospital with our little people.I can’t fault them and I’m so great full for everything they did for us even down to ensuring that I knew what happened to my son was no my my fault and that I did all the right things but was let down by the health system.Thank you QCH.

21 month old daughter had respiratory issues and so we were seen straight away at a&e. Doctors and nurses were lovely and so attentive. I can’t fault their care for her at all.
