Perfect spot for sunset. To get here, turn left after the cattle grid and then stay left at the fork in the road!

Short rocky track up to the knob, ok drive in the dry for higher clearance/4wd vehicles. Short scramble up the plug, lots of (rock?) Wallabies bouncing around.

Tell the locals about this place and a lot of them won't believe it exists. Usually muttering something about 40 to 50 feet down.

About 15 min outside of rubyvale is the start of the 4wd track to the base of the knob. It could be walked from the turnoff, approx 60 min return trip on uneven ground. There's no defined track but the normal route is well worn. Enjoyable views of the surrounding area.

Fabulous views and worth the rocky walk to the top. Lots of rock wallabies too.A bit tricky to find, ask locals for directions

Yes very much worth your time. Great spot.Super random to find though.Find the Policeman’s Knob sign down a dirt road.Turn left at the sign and follow the tracks to the left. Heaps of other random tracks but stay left.Go up the hill and it starts getting rocky.Policeman’s knob is a huge mound of rocks.Climb the rocks and go to top.Climb any side as it’s all rocky.
