A little hidden gem of a brewery serving exceptionally well crafted beers and tasty little pizzas.

Location is great and garden is beautiful to sit in.Staff very friendly and happy to have a chat. Great service.Kolsch and amber ale were great. Nice to find a Kolsch as they don't have it everywhere.Very enjoyable beers and good got chips.It was interesting to see how the grounds had changed since Blue Earth days. We miss the blue cheese souffles but the beer was fantastic.On a side note, I have fond memories of chats with the old mate who used to work the garden down the back and chatting about Cape gooseberries. I now grow my own. I believe he's the father of the brothers who own it.You can see hops growing on the fences and some are used in their beers - The red ale uses it.Tasting notes are available by QR code on the side of the paddles.Plenty of parking around.Well worth a stop.

Excellent beer and lovely garden setting. Limited food choice but good quality, very tasty and the best chips ever!!! Wonderful efficient customer service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a must do visit for us when we are down that way. Thanks!!

Loved this place we took our 3 dogs who had a great time . The food was so tasty and the owners were such lovely people . Will definitely go back and recommend it to everyone . The pink flaningo drinks for ladies is to die for along with the ginger beer and the pepper beer and pale ale were all winners for us .

We had a lovely lunch. Beer garden was peaceful and the food was great. Had a beer paddle, 4 options to please almost anyone. Staff were friendly and interesting to chat to. We'll certainly be back.

A must visit brewery, with delicious brews, yummy food, and delightful hosts. Sit inside or out and plenty of parking.

We hosted a post-wedding day lunch and beer tasting at Malt Man and Kirsty and Eric were wonderful in accommodating us, from the first enquiry until we left.We had a group of 9 adults and 1 child and they were able to sit us inside away from the rain, and put on a good spread of food (including some special vegan pizzas) to go with our tasting boxes. They had lots of beers on offer for the tasting box, and between everyone we tried (and liked) them all, especially their Tiny Toro Amber Ale and Jiffy's Ginger Beer.We can highly recommend them for a beer tasting or a special event!

Fantastic home made brew and food. Such a relaxed place. Love coming here when I’m home, we can rock up in our dirty farm boots, sit in the garden and have a beer

Gorgeous little place - service was perfect, food was amazing and beers were delish.Gluten free pizza was divine.Definitely worth the visit.
