Quantum Homes

Quantum Homes is the one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. We had a house built by them and have had nothing but issues from the beginning. Because of a mistake" instead of the permits taking 3 months to get it took over to a year. Then they blamed a "subcontractor". The construction itself took much longer than expected because of "subcontractors". The quality of the work was sub par again due to subcontractors. I have had to replace most of the door handles and shower & sink fittings because of cheap quality. There were many issues with the painting of the house so they sent their painter to fix. He came and sanded down all the spots and has never come back

Good quality builder.1. Quality custom design. Raft slab, brick wall, hard wood beams, granite bench.2. Flexible.. allow me to build the home I want at my budget... I spent more on structure and less on flooring and doors.3. Their price for custom build is lots cheaper than volume builders. I can attest to this having gone through a process with a volume builder which full of unwanted surprises in the end.4. Upfront cost at quote.... there was no major suprises.. quoted 530k, signed 553k.5. Good communications7. Honest. Did not charge me extra at any stage during this crazy price rise condition. Also refunded 100% rock allowance of $7k without being nudged.

I have had 3 homes built over the years .This time l chose Quantum and they built by far the best home.Price Quality/Finish excellent.Scott the site manager was meticulous.They designed what l asked .. I couldn’t be happier.. Max Grant.

If Quantatum's own display home is anything to go by I would give them an extremely wide berth. The maintenance and upkeep is appalling to say the least. If they can't maintain and fix their own product what chance do you think you are going to have! The very strange and scatted sales consultant" seemed to find pleasure in putting down other building companies

My partner & I built an Investment home with Quantum Homes in 2015. They where amazing! Easy to deal with and quick to respond to any queries I had. I was initially hesitant to proceed because of Google reviews, but after having a friend build with them and saying they were great we decided on a plan and signed contracts. We dealt with Paul for planning and contracts and Mario was our Site Supervisor.I had previously said I would never build again after completing our first home build with Carlisle Homes (a terrible experience). But am so glad we chose Quantum for our 2nd house build.So glad in fact that we are currently in the middle of build #2 with Quantum Homes for our third house!I find that the guys are easy to deal with on all aspects of the build and great for advice on building in general! We are hoping that once build #2 is complete that we will be in the position to look at another building another investment and will definitely be taking it to Quantum!

After purchasing our block in Gisborne having built a few times prior we were after builder that would be flexible to our needs and be able to make our vision come to life! Quality and service being our priorities along with very reasonable & transparent costs, Quantum homes did exactly that. Throughout the process design, planning, drafting and building it has been a pleasure dealing with the whole team. Always responsive and understanding having built based on our own design we had made many last minute changes and tweaks. Having met just about all the trades (I am on site most days after work) they have always been professional and friendly. Our house is now nearing completion a beautiful weatherboard home just awaiting paint and we are on time to move in the next 2 weeks. Highly recommend! A wonderful family business! Worst builder ever!!!!My partner and I approached Quantum Homes to build our first home.This home was meant to be our dream home.At the start all seemed well we got to design the house and pick what we wanted in it they where very helpful at this stage.When it came time to build the house it was a night mare they would have trades work two days a week. This house took forever to build.Day of moving in the House was putrid so dirty I had to Get a cleaner to come in and clean the house because the cleaner that was meant to come in before we got the keys apparently left because there was too many males here.You have to call your own trades because things never get organized correctly when you pay for the service.-organize your air con (numerous people to call) 13 weeks still no air conditioner-paintersMy house had to get re painted again because the paint was horrible.-plasterer -mould in the garage roofDon’t expect nice normal finishes in your house eitherI don’t have time to list all the issues as I don’t have all dayReally consider building with quantum homes as you will be very disappointed,sadly this is the truth.Don’t expect a lot of communication between owners and supervisor but when they want your money they will contact you and expect it with in there time frame or there is a late feeMy partner and I hate this house now we need Quantum to fix all the issues we have before we sell it.Who would buy a house like this ??Worst builderWorst experienceDo not build with Quantum Homes.

As a Real Estate agent i have sold new homes for many builders.The family team at Quantum, build a fantastic home working closely with their clients ensuring that the end result completes the dream for their customer.Highly recommend them if you are considering building your dream.

WORST BUILDER EVER - Please don't even think about to build your dream home with this unprofessional & rude builder. I was so happy to build my 1st home and this builder disappoint me & my family in a big way. Everything they installed is very cheap quality and they made blunders in construction.Drainage issue - The water in the shower room flows towards the door & stays there for long time - waiting for 6 months - still not fixed.Glass Splashback in the kitchen started burning after couple of days of use, Upon checking with specialist - they said builder used very cheap material behind the glass even glass itself is not good quality thats why having burning spots on both sides of the glass, Asked the builder many times to fix it but they denied.The sliding door in the Theatre keep getting stuck all the time - they fixed it once and I myself fixed few times but looks like used very cheap quality stuff, waiting for months to fix it again.Shower head installed wrong side of the wall in the ensuite - The Inspector said builder made a blunder and he put this issue in the Major fixes in his Inspection Report and said builder should fix it asap because its a Safety issue but builder denied to fix it.Builder installed faulty Rangehood - asked them to replace it asap so we can cook but they denied & said manufacturer Technika should replace it but Technika said its builder responsibility but again builder denied to replace it - We had to wait 3 months until Technika fix it but again stop working after few days of use - So asked the builder again to replace but they denied again, Then Technika repaired second time but again stopped working 3rd time then Technika said builder didn't installed the duck properly - its not sucking the heat properly - Still waiting for the builder for 6 months to replace the Rangehood with new one.All 3 toilet seats lids keep moving around - left and right - after few days of use - builder tightened the screws twice but again started moving around after few days of use - looks very cheap quality.The kitchen tab was blocked because it was not installed properly - fixed by builder after waiting for long time.There was leakage in the toilet and bathroom sink - fixed by builder after waiting for many days.One Door lock was stuck - I fixed by myself.The worst paint job ever done in this house - can see many paint patches on the every corner of the house, asked the builder many times to fix all the patches but only fixed one patch which is again not done by a professional painter - does not match entirely with wall paint, other paint patches still not fixed - waiting for 6 months.Mortar is missing from the bricks - every wall outside the house missing the mortar - asked the builder many times & they fixed twice but not by professional bricklayer - looks different colour mortar and many bricks still missing the mortar.So its been 6 months but builder do not care about anything - Send them many messages, emails & phone calls but no luck. Now we are proceeding to the court - Hopefully we can get justice.If anybody need any clarification - your are welcome to contact me or visit my home in Melbourne - Tarneit VIC 3029.

We are at the end of our build with quantum and I have to say with any issue with our build the guys and girls that work there have been outstanding. Every stage of the way they have been helpful and willing to work with us with what ever ideas we've had. Most of the time they get back to you within 24 hours and if urgent they will even work on the weekends. My wife and I have many friends whom are building right now and comapred to them our build had been easy and uneventful and the few issues we've had the building supervisor had been there to help with ideas and solutions all the time way. They will help you with any questions you have and explain things so that you understand even when your someone like myself whom wouldn't know how to build a kids play house let alone a house. We custome designed our home completely with prime metro (Norm was his name and he was awesome) it cost us nothing to do so and we went through 9 concepts. The guys at quantum were very good at building the design and were helpful with ideas not only to give us what we wanted but also to make the place even better. A lot of the standed range of their products also are upgrades with other builders so keep that in mind. Good luck with ya build and to be honest I'd never build with anyone else
