Great old venue. I am yet to see a movie there, but for live music, and for dancing, it is truly wonderful. Could do with a bit of a renovation, particularly in the upstairs gallery, but all in all, the local community should just be so glad, I think, to still have it around!

Lovely Sunday market, a little but of everything. Plenty home grown. Only exception, of non availability was fish market or any form farm raised fresh meat. Then it would have been complete. Well organised and the guitarist in the theatre on stage would give Eric Clapton a run for his money. Smashing event!

Best Theatre in Tasmania if not Australia. Modern,clean and fabulous restaurant. Take a coffee or glass of wine, sit and enjoy. The bookshop in the same complex is worth a visit before or after. Modern fantastic art on the walls. Expensive for average Joe though.

Its a small market with magnificent people and prices. Gin, Beanies, flowers, veg, fruit, dim sum , crystal dangers and more.Definitely returning to charge the moon energy in my life. A useful market with a mixture of things you need and the things you want.

Lovely spot to take a break when travelling. The theatre has been undergoing refurbishment and is a wonderful facility for the region. There's a small section offering local arts and produce worth checking out. It's also well worth paying respect at the War Memorial across the road.

I put on a movie there, which was highly successful due to the excellent support I received from the volunteer staff. What a delightful and historic venue this is, and what an active community. I would recommend running an event there to anyone.

This is a theater supported by the comunity, made in a style of 1910s. The People are sociable and very kind. They even eat together dinner.

Historical art deco local theatre, monthly classic movies, folk club every third Saturday, Great website and useful facebook page. There's a small local collective in the front room selling local produce and goods Fri, Sat, Sun. Great photo op.
