Fantastic location and tranquil setting are amazing. Pity some spoil with the noisy kids on their bikes and in the pool.Would love to visit again soon.

Honestly one of the best stays you will have at a reasonable cost. Have stayed at Moby's around 4 times for the NSW State Surfing Masters and every time it is fantastic. The staff are super helpful and the location is epic! Boomers and Blueys great for waves. More like a resort rather than a park.The accommodation is excellent, like little houses, with fully equipped apartments catering for couples and families. Kitchens are well equipped but we love to cook, so we do bring a portable oven (Kmart) when we want to cook a pie or casserole as they have microwaves but not ovens. However, each apartment has a BBQ, so for a one off fee of $10, you can hire a gas bottle and staff will clean the BBQ and you can have a cook up.The retreat now has excellent wifi in each apartment, which is a welcome upgrade over the past few years and the tennis court is very good and free! We bring racquets and balls and love hitting balls on the court. The spa and pool facilities are great and SIPS at Moby's is great for coffee and breakfast on the weekends with really lovely staff.My daughter left her pillow last stay and Moby's kindly sent it back to us after our stay for the cost of the postage. Thank you so much Dan!The only suggestion I would put forward would be a pet friendly policy. For those of us responsible dog owners, we would love to bring our doggy friends to run on the beach, this would be a welcome addition to the hotel policy. Thank you Moby's cant wait to come again next year!

Stopped in for lunch, no booking. Welcomed warmly, table secured. A lovely location off the beaten track. Very happy with food and drinks, pricing very fair. Lovely outlook over the pool and palms. Looks like a great spot for an afternoon session

Mobys Beachside Retreat is fantastic for a short or medium-term getaway with family or friends. You're a short stroll to the beautiful beaches that grace the area, and you are well served on-site if the beach isn't your thing.A large pool is available along with a spa, a gym, a masseuse (times vary), and there are tennis courts that can be booked.For the extra little ones, there is a small play area more in the centre of the complex - it'd be good if this were more centrally located with the pool, etc, but such is life.There's a restaurant on-site which can serve you drinks, coffee, etc even while you're enjoying the pool.A toilet / changeroom is accessible from the pool area.

Lovely location, pool & spa terrific. Beach close by. Massage appointments available and pilates as well as a gym on site. Forster easy to get to.Sips on site restaurant terrific. Staff run place very efficiently.

What a beautiful piece of paradise, great waves, walks along the beach, friendly community, great food, Amanda and the front desk was super helpful greeting everyone with a huge friendly smile. It is a nice easy going time away.

Thanks to the team at Moby's for a spectacular stay. We always love coming to stay at Moby's and the beach houses are perfect for our needs. We always try to utilise the entire retreat where possible whether it be the pool, tennis court or simply a BBQ on the deck.Thanks to Chris, Robyn, Sheldon, Dan, Amanda and the entire team for always spoiling us with a personalised, family experience.Would recommend Moby's for an overnight stay, Weekender or to change up the summer holidays to make this a must.Thanks,Surfing NSW

I don’t usually write review’s, but thought this might be worth a read for others. Im usually not fussy in any way. Regular campers, happy with whatever.My partner and I recently had a 2 night stay without our kids. It was great that we received a sms to confirm our room was ready for check in early.Down side is we were put in a disabled cabin that had hazardous tape all over the access ramp and the stairs were rotting. I don’t really have an issue with this, but when the place was very quiet with lots of free cabins didn’t understand why they would put paying guess in a cabin they clearly know needs work for safety.While the town is beautiful and there are some nice places to eat the reason we chose to stay here is that they had a restaurant to eat at. Upon check in we were told the restaurant is closed and doesn’t open until Thursday’s, which is something to note as the town has limited options. We had pizza 2 nights in a row as there wasn’t any other options apart from buying food during the day to cook our selves.I hope this helps others with their stay.
