Staff were very lovely and welcoming, food was delicious, we ordered kids pancakes, French toast and eggs Benny. This place had a chill vibe to it

Brunch was really nice. Not fancy but tasting good. The tables outside made of euro pallets are not very comfortable (no space for knees on two sides, and top very uneven).

Perfect place for a relaxing breakfast or lunch, clean and tidy with fantastic and helpful staff.I highly recommend the Smashed Avo with Spinach and Mushrooms added and the Warm Chicken Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast, Spinach, Pumpkin, Capsicum, Walnuts, Red Onion, served with Flat Bread.

We arrived at Sandbah late morning on Sunday during the long weekend. The cafe was understaffed, disorganised and the employees extremely rude and confrontational to people asking about meal times. After waiting 30+ minutes for a coffee and my partner 50+ minutes for a chai latte, they got the order wrong. The coffee was sub par and not worth the wait. The food was average and came out 56 minutes after ordering. The staff were fighting and arguing and causing a scene in front of everyone. Not very professional…Definitely would not recommend and wont be coming back.

Good post surf meal, I was a hungry man and went for the dirty harry, one of the best breky rolls Ive had, good fast service I will be back, dunno why people could diss a place like this, awesome cafe

The most disorganised cafe I’ve ever been too.. it was like waiting for godot. No one seem to know which food went where. The food didn’t come, the coffee had to be order 3 times before they finally delivered the wrong thing. It felt like eternal gaslighting. Funny though. Thanks for the laugh.

Love this place. I had the best ever Club Sandwich at the Sandbah cafe whilst penning my wedding speech here 5 years ago. I've actually dreamt about the sandwich from my UK home ever since so was delighted to find the place as busy as ever on my return to Torquay today and the infamous sandwich still taking pride of place on the mouth watering menu. Thank you Sandbah crew for making me a very happy chap. I will be back!

Came here for breakfast because of the rave reviews and honestly was extremely disappointed. We found the exact opposite of most people's opinion. Maybe an off day?The entire place was generally unclean, with sticky, not cleared tables. There was no table service and rude, impolite, staff with no personality and no want to be there. Like us being there was an inconvenience. At no point were we welcomed or attended to. There was a massively long wait for food and it was very expensive for what we did get. Cannot recommend.
