Had a faulty alternator. Called up via RACQ. Weipa Auto gave immediate and fantastic service. Despite it being a weekend, they fitted the job in and had us mobile again in under 2 hrs. Friendly, customer focused, the staff ( Bree and Sheldon) went the extra mile. So impressive. Thanks Weipa Auto.

Friendly service but VERY expensive. I bought a can of WD40 and it was 5c short of double the price in Cairns. It really would have been cheaper to get it sent up here.

Worst service I've received, no desire to fix an issue and not even a referral to help, left the place with the same issues I brought it in with but $150 lighter for clearing a fault code witht the faulty part still in the motor. Expected me to pay the fee and take the car. Won't be returning.Reply:I had mentioned atleast twice on the phone to somebody that i had already diagnosed the fault to the egr and asked if they would be able to order one in, or if cleaning it would be better, the fact I also mentioned the car is in my name rather than my fathers atleast twice also and is still invoiced as his name just shows the level of miscommunication in the business.

Drove from tip of Cape York to Weipa with dead starter motor on our Land Rover. Had contacted Weipa Auto before leaving. Arrived 4:30pm. The new starter was installed by 9:30am next morning.Very grateful to the team at Weipa Auto
