Had the best time with the perfect host Rex and his partner.Beautiful wine tasting experience ☆All you need to camp - Rex was very kind to sort us a firepit and firewood ♡Never seen the sky so clear at night and it was a surreal experience - you could stargaze for hours ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

We found Downderry wines on Wikicamps as a place to stay overnight and it's been our best stay ever. The owners Jan and Rex are very welcoming, and host many travellers on their property. We paid cash on arrival and the price was exceptionally reasonable for a one night stay with access to their toilets. We had a wine tasting and ended up buying a case of SSB, a bottle of their Shiraz, and a Port style wine - the Champagne style wine was also delicious!! We spotted that they had new lambs, and alpacas, and were invited to help feed them which was so lovely! Rex brought a out some wine dregs for us to enjoy, and even a taste of their new port which was STUNNING! He even bottled some for us the next morning to take away. A magical place and well worth a visit ✨
