It's ok, the dryers are big but you can only put little amounts or it won't dry properly or you have to double dry it. The machine says the wash is 28min but in actually fact the small machine start at 27min and the big ones start at 23min. Also I feel like you need to be able to put your own detergent in because your detergent is no good.

Alot of problems since reopening. Machines are taking money and then not working. The eftpos machine doesn't work or only works intermittently. And dryers are taking the cost of a 28 minute dry and then only offering an 8 minute dry

Great place to do your laundry at a really affordable price and it’s no coins required you just need bank card to purchase a pre payed card to operate machine and you don’t need washing detergent either as washing machine put that in automaticallyCost for a wash is $5 and dryer are around $1 for 15-16 minsPlace is kept clean and tidy and well maintained and there is instructions for everything

Great experience with washing and drying close to King street in Newtown cafe next door or pub on the corner…management efficient and friendly the place is very neat and tidy

Smartwash is really the only place to go to handle your washing and drying needs. I noticed a few days ago they just installed brand new washing machines which are of extremely high quality and also the dryers are very new. To me this makes all the difference. It is really good value compared to other laundromats that never update their equipment and leave you to handle any problems. The owner is highly professional and responds to calls in a time appropriate manner if you get into any difficulties.

The shop is clean fresh convenience24 hours. If you can not sleep, go there to do your laundry.Large and small for different load as well. Highly recommended.

It’ll do in a pinch. However, I don’t like that they don’t allow you to use your own products. Also, you should be able to opt out of fabric softener.

Beware!! Thief stole my clothes today. Effective machines but use at your own risk. The lack of compassion from the owner or an apology was the icing on the cake - just blame that I didn't get my things in time (it was 30 mins after cycle ended). That said, she sent photos of the culprit.

Very good equipment and environment. But why do I pay $6 to only use the dryer for 8 minutes?
