Do not judge a book by its cover!It may be a little dated but if you look past this, it's clean, the shower has good hot water, beds are comfy, sheets clean and it isn't cramped.We were welcomed by 2 lovely ladies. We will be back.ALSO it has a fantastic Indian restaurant next door (The Curry Pot)to Administration. Great service, great Margueritas, the food was excellent and garlic naan addictive.

Came for a long weekend and have loved this little spot! Clean rooms, nice gardens, not too far from the main town, great restaurant, lovely staff. What a great, affordable place. Will definitely be back.

Good and comfortable place to stay. The bed and pillows was very comfortable. Good location by the river, walking distance to town and quiet. There is a wonderful Indian restaurant onsite called Curry Port which I highly recommend. Nice grounds and there is a seasonal pool available. The room had a smart TV to access your streaming sites etc which auto-logged out for peace of mind. My only complaint is the provided toiletries in our room was minimal (only shower gel was provided, no shampoo or conditioner) and there was no hair dryer in our room.

Very friendly staff helped us to get the key before our booking time as they do not have anyone after 5.00 in reception. Very clean and tidy rooms. Worth the money bang for your buck.

If there are smokers at place that you're not allowed to smoke on premises also the air conditioner does not work the toilet was disgusting there was no microwave or safe and the price you had to pay that's ridiculous. Fridge did not work. There was disgusting creatures living in place

This is a nice place clean but I couldn't understand some things like why wasn't I informed that my room had no TV remote Why is it no smoking anywhere on the grounds rooms I can understand fully but the real hard to get thing was there were what seamed to be people a small family that were using the pool but didn't stay there and would smoke and drink in the pool area which is also not allowed . So whilst having a few over looking the pool watching these grubs not leave the pool for hours I previously had asked what time does the pool close the reply was about 7pm of which was closed that night at 705pm the next day it was closed at 630pm and grubs were told to leave and did so jumped in their cars and left.About 35 minutes difference it was 35 degrees at this time a bit to soon other observations workers staying there Finnish work go in room come straight back out with shorts on and hi vis still on and jump in pool or should I now call it the cesspool A few other things like the kettle had to be convinced to work hold the button down the whole time one bedside lamp didn't work and I think the shower heads should be changed people next door came in about 1030pm and tried to open our door then were noisy until 1145pm so I returned the hospitality the next night and had shower whilst singing wagon wheel about 1100pm water is precious only 1% of earths water is drinkable so change the shower heads cleaning crew are excellent . The Curry Pot restaurant is tops friendly service and excellent food .

My mother and I stayed here recently for 2 nights. We hadn't stayed here before so weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised.The staff were really helpful and friendly, room was very clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Has a pool (which we didn't use as weather was too cold being early winter) and had tennis courts. It was also very well priced.It was a absolute winner and will definitely be staying here again.

Friendly staff.Comfortable & affordable.Great location, close to town.Will come back next time.

Good value for money, comfortable beds, good shower, nice towels, good sized fridge, netflix etc access.We had a comfortable 2 nights at this hotel.
