Love the food, love the staff.Intimate location.

I wrote this review years ago but somehow all of their terrible reviews now appear on some poor book store.Basic food, basic facility and the only reception center in Australia that refuses to cut a wedding cake because it 'wasn't in their contract', but they advertise the cake you provide as one of their courses.And then there was their 'house photographer' who was never mentioned and just showed up on the night. It wasn't even so much that he was getting in the way of the actual wedding photographer, it was more the fact that he set up a gift shop at the exit and started selling the photos.The bridal table and the rest of the guests received different quality food. The dessert was a small blob of store bought mousse on top of a hard choc ripple biscuit. They also seemed super reluctant to serve drinks, which had already been paid for.The most unprofessional service I have ever seen. I would never go back.

Went here for a wedding reception. Food was good, staff were friendly and served us on the bridal table well. Great venue size. Good dance floor. Beautiful facade from the street. Great place for a wedding reception or party function.

Attended a dinner dance and a few other events its a Beautiful venue, staff were amazing and very presentable, the food was a good portion size and so much. I was really amazed the owner went around to the tables ensuring everyone was ok!Would highly recommend for anyone having a function to look into this venue.

Normanby House is amazing, absolutely beautiful venue, heaps of parking, very clean, amazing and professional staff that go beyond expectations, excellent service and most of all - the food is delicious. I would recommend.

Attended a function last night and was so disappointed. The food was average at best! The amount of food supplied per table was ridiculous considering the price we paid per person. On a seafood platter there were 8 calamari rings for a table of 13! Luckily they refilled our bread basket whenever we asked otherwise we would have gone hungry! Such a shame as it is a beautiful looking reception. Never again!

Tony and Christine were the perfect host! From day one of organising our wedding they worked with us. The venue looked amazing and the food was perfect!! Definitely recommend!

Attended an event last Sunday and thought the staff gave us excellent service and attention. All staff we interacted with were very attentive, friendly and highly professional. They did their utmost to ensure we were comfortable and happy particularly around dietary requirements. My group was very impressed. Congratulations to the management and all the team.
