Nash Horse Trekking

I have been trail riding at Nash Horse Trekking for the the past few years. If you live in Brisbane or even nearer, Ipswich, it is a great opportunity to ride some lovely, reliable and safe horses along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.As well as 1 hour and 2 hour rides, they also do a great days ride to and from the local Coominya pub for lunch. If you are adventurous, there are longer 2 to 5 day rides, staying at local pubs or camping along the way. They also arrange opportunities to have some cowboy/cowgirl adventures. My favourite it doing the ride along the Condamine Gorge near Killarney.So, if you are looking to go horse riding in South East Queensland and beyond, I highly recommend them.

Carolyn and her team are amazing. Even though there are places closer to my home I prefer to travel to Nash for great horses, great people and great riding!I have done several Pub rides (the lunch is massive and delicious!), trail rides and holidays. The Longhorn cattle muster is such a good experience, I highly recommend it for something different.Hands down the best place for riders of all levels to have a great day (or several days) out, oh and I have seen several koalas in the wild on the rides from the Coominya property!

Took the family for their first horse ride. It was a big risk taking them on a 4+hr ride to the esk pub, but it paid off! The kids had an amazing time experiencing the difficulties and also the ease of horse riding. We saw two wild koalas on the way and running along the old rail trail saw some beautiful scenery and amazing engineering of the old rail bridges. There was some steep terrain which was exciting and the flat runs were a good way to test your horse skills out. Caroline and Shane were fantastic, willing to have a casual chat and really make you feel comfortable. The horses were well trained but free enough to be able to steer away from the pack and walk along side eachother. The inclusion of morning tea and a late lunch at the pub really topped the day off perfectly. We were a little tender the next day but it was worth it! Can't wait to come back, we're thinking the overnight camp might be next on the list.....

An enjoyable afternoon for our family. The teenage boys even said they enjoyed it! We did an hour trail ride, good fun and lots of land to cover. We booked only the day prior and were easily accommodated.

Went on a very relaxing and enjoyable trail ride on Carolyn's terrific horses on the weekend. Saw a koala in the trees and just enjoyed the peacefulness and wonderful bush sounds and smells for a couple of hours. Highly recommended. Thank you Erin and Kate

We had such a great time on the experienced pub ride yesterday. I cannot compliment Carolyn and her crew enough. Her horses are incredibly well looked after and a pleasure to ride. We came home a little weary but happy to be planning our next trip. If you are unsure whether to book or not, do it, you won't regret it.

We had a great experience on a 2hr trek along the BVRT. The horses seem well used to riders of all levels ox experience and our 7 year old was led by an experienced rider. This made us feel very comfortable given it was her first proper ride. It's a very well run family business and made for an excellent morning ride.
