Nice safari! We have seen a lot of the whitsunday wilderness. The guides make a good job in teaching us about animamals and plants. On lunch time we got a tasteful bbq and after finishing the tour we got additional an sweet bread.

Very informative guided trips on the Proserpine River & surrounding wetlands. Flora & fauna identified, ecology explained, and the guide knows what's living there & how to find it.Minimal walking involved, but one must be able to negotiate stairs. Restroom is one (not too smelly) outhouse. Our experience began with a 2 hour river ride in a covered boat, followed by a simple lunch at picnic tables under a large open sided tent. Then we boarded the roofed farm wagons with benches for a shorter tour of the wetlands. Although very warm, sun exposure is minimal. Bug spray (not needed for our visit) & sun cream is provided.

What an amazing opportunity. Thanks, Steve and the team. Had an unbelievable experience with the crew here and highly recommend these guys for a tour. The talks were informative, clever, and entertaining. We booked via our P&O cruise but really want to come back and spend more time with everyone. Billy Tea, Damper, and the BBQ lunch was also a huge bonus, but the whole package is something we will treasure for years to come. Can't thank the team enough, keep educating and teaching people about these amazing animals.

I went in winter, we were told this was the best time to go as the crocodiles will be sunbathing on the banks after the tide dropped. Overall, we saw crocodiles about 20+ times as we went up and back down the river.Really fantastic, tour guides were very knowledgeable and knew where certain crocodiles could be found. Great at spotting crocs far away and approaching them so you get a very close view without them getting scared off. They've done it for a long time so they know where the crocs territories are, and most of the crocodiles are comfortable around them and know the sound of the tour boat so they stay put on the banks. We got very close to a lot of crocodiles, some times being about 2m away from them and they moved the boat around so everyone got a chance to see.The tractor ride was educational and a good use of time as we had to wait for the tide to drop before we could see the crocs. They were good with teaching the kids about the dangers of wandering off away from the camp or standing in the boat on the river. The food and tea provided was great and there was plenty available. Clean toilet and hand washing facilities available, and they provide bug spray before you go out on the boat. Water and soft drinks were available to be purchased with cash and they were reasonably priced, $3 for soft drink and I believe $1 for water. Some of the food provided included:Morning tea: tea and home made damper, one regular and one with sultanas. Cooked very well with many toppings provided including butter, Vegemite, honey etc.Lunch: chicken, fish, sausages, steak, and many pastas and salads. Plus lamingtons.

Such a fun and informative experience.Kids really enjoyed spotting crocs in their natural habitat, we got up really close to them.Bbq lunch was delicious. Then a tour of the flood plains, with explanations of local flora and fauna from a guide that obviously has a real passion for preserving them.Ended the day with some yummy damper and billy tea.It was a unique day out and so well enjoyed by the whole family.

We booked this as it's the most populated area with large Crocs in Australia. Unfortunately, you can't control nature, so we didn't see many, just a few little ones and one adult female who quickly ducked under the water. However, it's so well run, and the guides are so knowledgeable. They make it fun and interesting. The food was also great, and they cater for most food allergies/intolerances. I would definitely recommend doing this Safari.

Great tour, very knowledgeable and informative.Unfortunately for us though we missed out on seeing the large crocs and only saw a heap of babies. We had a super quick glance at a larger croc before she quickly slid into the water and disappeared. That's no fault of the tour/guides obviously..These are wild crocs which is much better seeing them in their natural habitat compared to a zoo"Still had a good day though."
