Staff extremely rude and dentist almost never available. Pity!

Was about to go forward with braces for my daughter here after a referral from our general dentist. A nice location and practice, but consult felt a little production line and insincere - certainly very busy. Reception staff were very friendly and although the ortho seemed to be on vacation or unavailable, we eventually found some dates (only in school hours) to get the braces fitted.Wondering about the huge gap of $5000 when my insurer is generally very good, I decided to try another reputable local orthodontist. Much more sincere, didn't charge for the consult (swiped insurance card) and the cost was a whopping $3000 less out of my pocket for the same thing. A difference like that is outrageous - the overheads at this clinic cannot possibly justify that margin when the second clinic was a similar size (if not larger) and high standard. No wonder the ortho was always on vacation. Shop around!

We visited Brisbane Orthodontics for a second opinion on my son's developing mouth. The orthodontist we saw was fantastic with my 6yo and advised us that any intervention at his age was unnecessary. The staff were very professional, patient with our questions and supportive. I highly recommend them.
