Cash Converters Prospect

Staff here are generally great.One staff member is however lwtti g the team down. I saw an add on gum tree or eBay about a push bike. All I asked was about the size. I told him what size I was afterThe Staff member then relied he couldn't find it written on the bike but believed it was the size I was looking for.Walked in the store and it was written clearly were all bikes have them displayed.The other issue I find is presentation.Items should be cleaned before they are up on sale.Not only will this help resale value but also enhance the customers experience, the image of the store and make the items more appealing.The bikes are all sold as they are.Covered in dirt he l tease and grime.They should at the very least have a rag whipped over them .

I took some items in to get a loan and the girl behind the counter yells out we aren't doing anything at this time. The time was 5.15pm and they don't close till 5.30. Very very poor customer service. 15 minutes left before they closed. I wouldn't recommend them to my dead grandmother. Lift ya act hey!!!

Great store very good price I went to Hampstead Gardens and they only offered me 60 dollars when iv been a very good customer there for many years and got 70 for one piece and this time I had 2 of them. Went to prospect and got 100 no questions asked whatsoever.. but I called today to make a payment only to be told I can't make a payment over the phone which I have never heard of this ever in my life I have made hundreds of payments over the phone. But the lady was very helpful and saved me extra interest so big 4 stars good shop

Cash converters had a great and friendly staff at cheap prices I would highly recommend to go visit there

I've never liked Cash Converters business model of preying on the desperate, weak and naive. Paying cents on the dollar for something they will sell for a 5000% markup. The store itself is poorly located on Main North Road. You can access it from a rear entrance but you can't exit from the same door. It's 'broken'. Yeah right. It's been 'broken' for months now. It's more like preventing stock theft. If that is the case, why don't they just be truthful about it? The store has a vaguely decent range of items you won't be able to afford. Like with all Cash Converters their prices are ridiculous. When stuff is cheaper new than it is second hand, what is the point of shopping at CC? Staff can be friendly. Their range of DVDs is enormous. I can't recommend.EDIT: Dec 2017. I have been back to CC a few times since I wrote this and I can say that the staff should be fired or at least retrained. When asked about the availability of an item which I knew to exist only the week before, I was told that they never stocked it. An outright lie. The remainder of the staff just look bored or can't be bothered to help you.I've dropped my rating by one star.

Unlike most other cash convertor stores I've visited, the stock I've seen is not cleaned or presented well. Items are thrown everywhere and staff do not show interest in helping as they have at other stores.Items I have tried purchasing have had missing parts critical for functioning.Staff blame customers who trade them even though thow they are meant to check each item prior to purchasing them.Air-conditioning is extreemly poor, only area it seems to function is at the register. I couldn't help but notice most floor staff segregated thereVery disappointed and a huge let down to the name.Many core believes in there delivery statement are just not implemented

Copped some quality PS2 games from here which was exactly what I wanted however the main standout with this one over the others is that the store layout is so easy to follow and everything is where you would expect making for a simple and casual browsing experience for all who enter

I went to the Cash Converters in Prospect yesterday 22 Feb 2020 and I found a torch which was $12 but I looked at the back and it had a sticker that said $5 DISCOUNT". So I went to the staff and they told me that it wasn't their sticker

You can go into these stores 99 times and find nothing useful and on the 100th visit snag a great bargain. It really depends on what people have brought in to sell. Make sure you carefully check the price of any item before buying as they can sometimes be charging more for a used item than it would cost you to buy new. Buyer beware. As long as you know what you're looking at you should be ok.
