Thai pads are too hard to punch without gloves. Also an instructor (not Sifu Greg) stomp kicked my thigh a few times without a pad for a demonstration, should probably use a pad not just kick my leg, it jarred my knees I can’t move them quickly because I have mobility impairment from cancer treatment and got peripheral neuropathy like I wrote on enrolment form. I also sprained my ACL pivoting in rubber soled shoes it is better to wear wing Chun shoes or teach an alternative to pivoting in non slip footwear. Finding good training partners is important. Also it was way to hard on my body I was looking for that chill wing Chun not like a cardio workout. After 4 classes I needed a few months recovery, that’s just cause of the chemotherapy though and because I go 100% intensity and burn out, instead of going like 40% intensity.
