Some of the staff have terrible customer service, specially a guy who is one of the managers at Kardinya store. Really bad experience the other day with him serving as a cashier. He was really rude towards me because I had a lot of items. He rolled his eyes at me and at some point was quite loud and almost threw my stuff when scanning them. That’s the nearest Aldi to where I live and I almost always get traumatised there for some of the rude behaviours. They also have pleasant staff working there but couple of the guys are really rude and arrogant. Wish there was a management that cared about customer service. Really sad story.

You really need an area manager to spend a whole week in that store. Produce isn't fresh. Lots of items past use by, flowers are always dead yet still for sale? The check out is a mess!!! Constantly opening and closing registers - it's inefficient and happens every single time I shop there. Staff are rude bar one manager that works there. I feel unwelcome and often find products are overpriced for their quality. Fresh food in a supermarket is sort of important. Staff always seem to be in break room. Stock isn't pulled forward or organised. It's shocking.

I hate the low feeling one gets when shopping there. The awful cheap and nasty stuff on display in the centre of the store, looking like a church jumble sale.Ridiculous announcements about closing cash register 5. Is this to make the rabble feel they are in an upmarket place or something?All that cheap junk in the centre should be cleared away to make room for more stock.So little choice. I wanted bird seed yesterday and they don’t stock it.Finally at the check out, are they afraid that the customers will attack the cashiers? Why all that glass partition? Do they expect an attack at any moment from customers who can’t find what they want in the limited shelves?

I bought the BBQ chicken thigh steak for about $7. I pan-fried them with a pan lid. The chicken juice and the BBQ sauce was tasty. I then added pre-fried onions and garlic to the cooked chicken, The cooked chicken thigh steaks are best to be eaten when they are still warm. (2021-09)Nice shopping stall to get what I need for cooking. At home, I followed the baking instruction of the product to cook. The oven-baked garlic bread loaf was crush and fluffy. Tasty! Wonderful to go with pumpkin soup. (2021-08)

Compact supermarket offering most items we required. Good parking. Best is the checkout. They open extra checkouts promptly as and when required. Prices are great. The only horrible product bought was spaghetti bolognaise in a plastic container. Inedible. Bitter sauce.

Overall great value for money. Many items better than major two. Some not so good.Strange for people to condemn everything about Aldi with one breathe and in the next say they visit frequently. Very odd.If you like being pampered with space and morecasual check outs then don't visit Aldi. It's there for buying at a lower price and often superior products.

I went into the Aldi store in Kardinya. Had only a few items in my basket…The lady in front of me had a full.. very full basket of items. The guy carefully placed her items out of the basket.. ran them through the check out… done. My turn. He lifted the basket containing the items I was purchasing to his shoulder height and tipped all of the items out onto the counter! Are you kidding me?????who needs that? Why he did this to my groceries and not to previous customer … ????are you kidding me? I left … truly disgusting service and clearly not equatable. Will I go back? NO.

Some of the staff here are a bit, umm... not nice. Sorta seems to be a machismo culture amongst management and a dismissive response across all staff to any form of negative feedback, let alone complaints.More than 3 uncomfortable situations with staff at this store.. :(
