The Nail Place

Went in here for a full set of acrylics...black tip French manicure in an almond shape. Paid $55. At first I was super happy with the nails but later realised the design was noticeably uneven on a few nails. I feel it could have been wiped off & done again but at the time they were quite busy, still not an excuse to leave it in bad shape.I had tips placed on my nails as well as gel & they feel like good quality. I would return but maybe not for a design next time. Would just go with a solid colour? Happy with the team, all were kind & I didn’t feel judged like in some other places.the towels we sat our hands on weren’t clean & had other people’s polish & nail dust in it. Sat there for abt 45 minutes & saw 2 ppl come and go, none of their previous towels were changed.

They were wonderful. I got my toes done first then I got my fingers done which I loved the colour. So I asked if I could change the colour to my fingernails. No worries very happy to do so.

My Mum and I came in for Mum to get her nails filled in and polished. Mum has a hearing problem and she couldn’t hear or understand what the lady was saying. She was upset that the lady only gave her 2 colour choices so she chose the lightest colour, which is not what she asked for. I had asked for a Pedicure as per my Dermatologists recommendation, I was flat out refused a Pedicure, was told to get my feet better and come back.After leaving the Salon and getting Mum settled in the car I went back to speak with the Manager.While speaking to him I was verbally abused by other customers in the store who were overhearing what I was saying.I had always been happy with the service but after today I don’t think we’ll be back.

Have been going here for the last 3 months now. The staff are absoutly amazing, very kind and make you laugh while your there. They are always busy so expect to have a small wait occasionally.They really care, and my nails are always perfect, they are gentle, and even with full sets my nails are not destroyed as they have been from previous nail salons.

The only nail place I go to in Toowoomba to get SNS on my real nails! The staff are amazing and very friendly. They are always willing to give new nail designs ago. Highly recommend.

if i could have given the review 0 stars i would’ve. they have simply not been able to do the designs i have asked for. i asked for french tip and they have me straight lines across my nails. the way they shape my nails are always uneven, and have cut and filed my skin. when i repeatedly asked them to redo it because it wasn’t how i wanted it the lady started giving me attitude and decided to do what she wanted instead. before i even sat down i showed them a photo of what i wanted and asked how much it would be, they gave me a price, later on when i went to go pay they tried to charge me extra. i recommend not to go there.

If it was up to me, I would not give them a star. The experience me and my Stepmother had at this nail place was the worst. We were rushed and didnt get treated as the customers. Nails and toes nails looks like a child did it. They have spilled nail polish on my clothes and didnt even paint the whole nail. We have attempted to correct them but they ignored us.WORST VISIT EVER WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!!

Wonderful experience at The Nail Place Kmart plaza today. I came in with an impossible design request and they executed it perfectly. Thank you. I love them!!!!!

I had 2 visits here and my most recent visit was terrible. My daughter and I booked 2 appointments at 1.00pm and we had to wait nearly 30 minutes, as there were no chairs available and they were going to put a walk in in front of us.Our pedicures were basically nails only cut, no callous treatment or cuticle care. The nail polish application was all lumpy on both our nails too. When I said it was not good the inexperienced young man walked off. The man owner just put more coats on instead of removing the bad work and starting again.A few days later the polish on both our toenals is cracking and chipping.All in all a bad and disappointing experience and I won't be back.
