Had dinner here on a cold Friday night. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was so good—a French bistro on a closed verandah (with a 44 gallon drum turned fireplace to keep it cosy). If you are staying in or around Wollombi, you should eat here.

Our second visit on Friday and once again thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine, service, and venue. Well worth the scenic drive from Newcastle and a great and central spot to meet friends from Central Coast or Sydney for lunch. Our friend from New York said the hamburger and chips were the best she has had since arriving in Australia 9 years ago. Thank you, Cafe Marjorie, we will be back soon.

We rode our bikes from Morisset to Cafe Marjorie in April which was perfect. Crisp, cool morning, giving our lungs a work out cycling through the Watagans was what we needed after a few too many Irish teas the night before. We arrived before our lunch booking and our other lunch guests so treated ourselves to coffee an almond croissant and a pork and fennel sausage rollio. All epic. So good.After a couple of beers and once our guests turned up we tucked into the restaurants epic house made bread, tuna crudo, squid and duck - mate, have you tried the duck?! Do it.Hats off to Chef Joel Humphreys and the team for creating a beautiful menu and atmosphere I will definitely slug it over the mountains for. Bewdy, 6-stars!

Our family were visiting the valley & we dropped into Cafe Marjorie for a snack. The pastries were fresh & delicious & the staff were warm & welcoming. The coffee & the chai latte were revitalising after a wet, rainy morning. The children had a great time & left happy with full bellies!
