Imagine a blue oasis where the drinks are bright and colourful? Toss in beautiful people, fabulous food, relaxing music and a night sky filled with stars. Stir and........ relax. Koko is a gem hidden in the Peppers Resort at Port Douglas. Monday evening set menu is highly recommend. The food is fresh and the staff attentive. Perfect.

We came for locals night on Monday night for their Balinese style feast. The service was a little disappointing but the food was pretty good. The pool lights up a deep blue at night which makes the night a little special. Make sure you make a booking as it isn’t that large

We stayed at Peppers for a pleasurable week in July. Breakfasts were well done with fresh, warm croissants been a particular highlight, but also the Coconut yoghurt bowl with fresh fruit. A couple of fruit juices and machine coffee and tea are available or you can pay a few dollars for a proper" coffee."

Had tasting plates - the prawn toast, salt and pepper squid, chicken bites and some chips. Everything was great, staff were friendly, cocktails were good and we loved sitting by the pool.

Simply dropping the bill on the table whilst one is half way through their meal is hospitality 101 dropped done the toilets. These guys have no clue on what they are doing.

Went for a birthday lunch and waited 45 for food which although tasted fine were the smallest portions I have ever seen in a restaurant and prices were high..$42 for 5 scallops which was touted as a LARGE share plate was quite frankly..taking the mickey".I small mouthful each for shared LARGE curry ridiculous.Must say the drinks tho were amazing and drinks waiter very friendly. If you are hungry KoKo restaurant is not for you.... ..we were given a 15% discount on our bill after complaining of meal portions."

Amazing place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had breakfast everyday during our stay and it was always spot on. Breakfast classics or Asian fusion options to select for breakfast.The Monday locals night dinner was delicious with great live music.

We delighted our taste buds with tasting plates, wonderful service and then finished off with a mix of desserts. Not one dish disappointed. Hats off to the chefs. Our table was looked after by a delightful lady(we loved her Spanish accent too). Great evening all round. Small dining area with a tranquil ambience

It is a beautiful environment.However for a 5 star place, they had one gin on offer. Tanqueray which I do not like. When I asked for a brandy and dry, the very lovely waitress came back to say they had no ginger ale. So whilst alcohol is not essential, I do not drink wine and I was looking forward to our last night and a lovely evening. The menus looked good. However at this stage we left.
