David is extremely knowledgeable and will offer honest, unbiased information and recommendations.If you are looking for quality audio products and guidance I highly recommend visiting.Be warned though, once you hear some of the equipment, you can't unhear it.Life without music would be dull""

My response to the owner’s reply:If you had bothered to ask us what we were browsing for, you would have realised that we were not there for a quick purchase. One of my family members was excited to enter into a specialty audio store because that’s his passion, he had multiple questions for you but I guess you would not know that because you didn’t bother asking.Also, if it’s a store where you can’t browse, show it on the door or simply explain what type of shop this is instead of “it’s a non browsing store”.This was my original review of the store:HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.I went into the store with my wife to have a look and we were greeted by an old bitter man who came and told us that his store “isn't a browsing store.”Obviously he’s not a professional with customers and he only wants customers who make super quick purchases.I don’t care if he thinks that he knows his business and can make big sales, it isn’t him being a good salesman, it’s the customer who is making an informed purchase that they’ve looked into.

Bloke showed me a turntable I’m interested in, wanted a few days to think about it. Found it for $100-$150 cheaper at a different store, asked if he’d price match and all hell broke loose. He started ranting and raving about how he was reluctant to show it to me in the first place, and that me going and looking at prices elsewhere was a betrayal. I probably would have just given him the extra $100-$150 to shop local, but at the end of the call he said “I don’t want to speak to you anymore” and hung up on me. This in itself was funny as I probably said three words due to the fact that I was so taken aback by his psychotic diatribe. I didn’t argue about his price or challenge him, and I didn’t deserve that level of hostility. Gonna have to “betray him” and get it elsewhere as I’m not going to part with my money to that raging primitive. The funniest part is his assumption that consumers are breaking a sacred oath by checking prices elsewhere. Kind of worth it though as that was a pretty funny interaction.

David has always been very helpful. He is very knowledgeable. He is trustworthy and very honest. Caxton Audio is a mid to high end audio shop. If you want a Bose soundbar then you should probably go elsewhere. If you want better audio products then go and see David.

Great service, asked for some assistance with buying a vinyl player. Received great advice and the man that helped me really knew what he was talking about and was not just in it to take my money like every other big chain shop in there in for commission.I bought a record player, thought there was something wrong, rung the shop and they were more than happy for me to pop back in to see what was wrong, needless to say I wired it up wrong and they were happy to assist me to ensure I wire it up correctly and get the most out of my purchase.Still happy with my purchase. Great service. Thank you!

I was surprised to see the negative reviews because the service I receive when I'm at the store is fantastic and if I ever have a question they will always give me great information. A few days ago, the owner helped me buy a DH LABS Silver Sonic RCA Cable and he gave me plenty of information about it. Any time I go into the store I always have a pleasant experience, would highly recommend to everyone.

Great service, the right parts. I've resurrected my old turntable!!! Listening to it now. So good to hear the old vinyl's again in all of their original splendour!!! Very happy!
