Sunnyside Historic Home
The actual home of Helen G White. When my grandpa and grandma lived only a hundred or so metres away down the road and we used to visit, we'd all go for a walk to here and see the wonderful exhibits from the islands. One thing that stood out, was the plane that was mounted on a pole near the house! Being a Seventh Day Adventist community, opening hours were only on certain days, but still worth a visit!

Sunnyside Historic Home
Very disappointed. We drove all the way from south coast to visit this place, according to the info on the website supposed to be open from 15:00 to 17:00. We emailed, phone them several time and no response at all. We got here by 15:40 and the place is closed. At least next time please, respond emails and phone calls to save our time. I really encourage to those want to come to vist please confirm opening times.

If you are a history buff, this is a must see!! The guide is so passionate about this part of Australian history that we left feeling as if we had visited the original owners personally! Want to know more about Sydney Private Hospital or Avondale? This is the place to visit!!

Beautiful. Quaint. Historic.Great tour as well! There's also a small museum in the building next to Sunnyside that's heaps interesting, especially so when gone through with a guide who knows the history behind the objects.
