After 2 1/2 years in storage, I had my goods delivered on Monday. The 2 delivery guys were quick to oblige placing my goods & boxes where asked. I had a small piece of furniture missing, which I have now unpacked, & they were very concerned noting down that it was missing & providing me with a follow-up phone number should I need it.The lead up to delivery was just as smooth. Working with both the Western Australian & Victorian branch was easy with a contact person always being there to answer my questions.I highly recommend WridgWays The Removalists. .

THESE GUYS HAVE GONE INTO INSOLVENCY - DO NOT USE!!!! We booked a move on April 21 from Sydney to Qld. The uplift team were good but it took almost 5 weeks for our stuff to arrive - they had been locked out of their depot for not paying their rent. We found this out by ringing the real estate agent as WridgWays told us lie upon lie or did not respond at all. Then when our stuff did arrive - many items were broken beyond repair- microwave smashed, fridge dented and scratched, mid-century furniture smashed, broken and water damaged - the list goes on. They promised us compensation for the delays (on top of insurance) then reneged. We have now found out they are insolvent and yet their website is still active calling for quotes. Sad for such an old company that mismanagement has meant they owe creditors millions of dollars, are holidng peoples' possessions to ransom as they are unable to deliver them and yet their website is still active with no information to the unsuspecting new potential customer.

I have never experience such disgusting customer service. I moved interstate from Sydney to Melbourne. I could not fault the Sydney operation of packing and picking up. Professional and careful throughout. Unfortunately, the Melbourne end was appalling....considering it is their ‘head office’, I was shocked that it was being run like a two bit business. They did not turn up between 11 - 1.30pm on the day. I was required to call them to find out what was happening.. I was reassured they would cover accommodation cost for family and dog as a result of the inconvenience. 5pm that day advised of 8am delivery for following day. 7am received phone call advising they would not be there and would let me know. From there I received text only. It took the delivery team to be honest about the business not paying a Bill! Also, the team that showed up included 2 teenage children of one of the senior guys and a driver who came off sick leave. It is now 10 weeks later and I am still chasing an apology, formally from senior management, and still chasing reimbursement for accommodation. I am shocked and appalled at the lack of response and STRONGLY RECOMMEND FOR NO ONE TO USE WRIDGWAYS. They should not be in business.FYI I have never felt the need to write a review as strongly as I do here. I don’t want anyone else to deal with what I had to.

Booked Wridgways for an interstate move. Uplift was fine until the removalist decided that he would try to lift the entire washing machine solo and obviously the machine ended up on the ground.Almost zero contact after uplift. Tried to contact them multiple times with zero response. When our goods were finally delivered (the week following the scheduled delivery date) our fridge had a huge gouge in the door and multiple dents and both sofas were covered in thick, black grime. Neither of these issues should have occured if they goods were wrapped and blanketed as per the terms of the contract. In addition, the entire custom leg system that was built for our chest of drawers had been completely ripped off the unit and the legs hidden in other boxes (meaning the removalists had to open our goods to do this).Contacted our move consultant" who escalated the matter and have not received a response for over 2 weeks. Will be lodging a complaint with fair trading."

This is actually the first negative review I've ever posted for anyone, because I'm absolutely losing my mind with WridgWays - they have been terrible to deal with as a business. It is coming up to 2 years (yes, 2 years) since they moved us from NSW to VIC and we are still waiting to receive the agreed compensation payment for our disastrous move. I totally get that accidents happen, but the measure of a good business is how they recover in those moments, and this experience has been atrocious. They were excellent in winning our business - the person who set up the move was awesome, but when YOU need THEM they make it so difficult. The way our house was packed in the truck was so bad that things we never even expected could break (like the solid leg of a heavy hardwood dining table which was snapped clean off) did break. Things we entrusted them to pre-pack, like art work, was also smashed and scratched. After a ridiculously hard negotiation we settled on a small compensation but now months later they still have not paid and no one will even respond to my emails. I actually dont know what else to do but post this review...

We moved from Brisbane (July 2018) to Melbourne (September 2018) on fairly short notice. Wridgways was able to accommodate our move, and provided great service throughout. Phone support beforehand made filling out the insurance paperwork simple, and on the day of the move the removalists were professional, worked quickly and took good care of our belongings. We were impressed with how furniture was wrapped, ensuring it was not damaged in storage or during the move. Support staff in Melbourne (Lisa in particular) were fantastic and worked with us to have our things delivered at the most convenient time. We were in our new house with no hassles. The prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended for interstate moves. The Duncan Family

COMPANY IS IN LIQUIDATION!! DO NOT USE!!We made a huge mistake using this company and are owed money. When you call and can get through to the office, which is rare you are given different numbers for different people to then find the contact numbers disconnected.Spoke to a lady at the Melbourne branch who was working from home who didn't even know the company was in liquidation. She went on to inform me multiple people being made redundant all over Australia. She said she gets constant calls about money being owed and people not knowing what is going on with their removals. She gave me the contact number for the owner of the business and she said good luck trying to get a hold of him, he keeps disconnecting his number. I am one of many people who are owed money and the owner of the business is avoiding dealing with the problem. He took over the business a few years ago and has clearly run it into the ground!!Its a shame a company so long standing has been destroyed!Good luck trying to get your stuff and/or money !!If I could give this company no stars I would!

I won't use anyone else. This is the second time that I have had furniture shipped from around the country to Melbourne. The first was from Tasmania and the second from South Australia. WridgWays just make it easy. Great communication, keep you informed and turn up when they say they will. Nothing is too hard for them. Andy and Leon, today, were fantastic moving some very heavy solid furniture into tight spaces while protecting the slate floors. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Well Im not that happy with this company. Its mainly the middle management side of things. I don't think its right to pay $2250 to only move barely 9m squared and it take over 30 days in total !!! Also the middle management person who was assigned to my job could never be bothered ringing back after I would ring her about my belongings. She would only email me a company policy statement to me with a comment attached. Found that be very rude , disrespectful and just plain arrogant. Moving companies need to start putting more effort into each individual & family from start, Middle and finish. Will not recommend this company or most companies. If you can do it yourself,DO IT!
