I employed first response to do some renovations in a house I just bought. This involved conversion of a dark dingy ex tanning salon into a bright, light dog grooming/training/massage therapy home based business and repaint and restore the two bedroom space downstairs for rental. The transformation was truly amazing! The workers were respectful, knowledgeable and prompt and I’m very impressed with the results.thank you for you professionalism, hard work and respectful management of this rather odd project!

We had a skylight installed on our townhouse, initially the installation was left exposed and half finished. After quizzing for a couple of months someone was sent to plaster the inside, as it was a total mess. which then we were told someone was coming to paint and finish the job. 6 months of email via our body corp and it's still not finished with no clear answer as why the job was never completed.

Totally not impressed. Hired to paint the exterior of a unit complex in Southport. Areas missed, masking tap left behind, inconsistencies with down pipes, edging, cutting in, paint splatter, after 1 week rust has appeared, foreman overbearing swearing when mistakes raised, changed from abseilers to scaffold, when pressure cleaning hose fitting damaged and water spraying out so no idea on what actual pressure coming out of nozzle, sealant not applied in all areas ceiling on balcony has marks showing, excuse after excuse given and even it was said did an owner do this

Painters were hired to revamp the exterior of the complex I rent at. From start to finish the experience was very negative for us as residants. To summarise.. our courtyard was used as a storage area for weeks, more than the 'couple of days' as initially asked, the equipment left became messier all the time, broken plants, paint spray all over my organic edible pot plants and ALL outdoor furniture and items, no communication provided with advice and steps on how to prevent this from our end, paint droplets on pavers (some cleaned off, some remained), rubbish left constantly (even after job completed and equipment finally removed from our courtyard), emailed the guy in charge with photos of broken pots, paint and rubbish everywhere who replied basically saying my perspective wasn't accurate and that the painters did take great care (they did not always take care, that was apparent), promised me the equipment would be removed from our courtyard that day, two days later it was finally removed and he stopped responding to my emails. Also the workers never advised of times they'd be using our space, so sometimes it was 6:30a, other days 9am, we had no idea when we could and couldnt use our outdoor living area. We now have paint to clean off of all of our outdoor belongings. And edible plants I cannot use and give to others as 'organic'. I provided tips on how these problems could be avoided for future work done but have been ignored. Awful company to deal with.
