Gluten Free 4 U - Geelong - Bakery, Cafe, Cakes Shop, Pizza, Wholesale Bread

Good that it is gluten free, but not worth paying extra for Not fresh tasting cakes. Especially Rasberry choc late dry and hard. Had take home frozen pies tiny and pastry not a nice flavour. Not worth expensive cost for the quality and size. Better tasting gluten free out there. Other reviews seem to have the similar experience here.

Amazing food and cannot wait to shop there again. Quality food which is value for money.

The danishes were awful, had the taste of being frozen and left to defrost - couldn’t finish it. The slices were ok - the jelly slice was the best. The sausage rolls were yum.

Yes!Yes!Yes! The best GF experience I have had. Plenty of selection, prices are reasonable, and patient staff that wait while you decide. Highly recommended 10/10

Very disappointed.We went to the Belmont shop, the small cup cake was good, the children’s hot chocolate was warmer than the 2 coffee’s we got, plus the coffees weren’t great either, I got the raspberry white chocolate cake & it was hard as a rock and just as dry.I took one bite, spat it out and took it back to the counter.I wanted a refund but was told they don’t do that and I was offered something else of same value.It was the most disappointing bakery experience I’ve ever had.

Good food, low key service, worth visiting if you are celiac.

The GF4U shop is an absolute godsend for our family of coeliacs. There is such a huge range of choices at this store and we have enjoyed finally being able to eat our childhood favourites like vanilla slice and lamingtons! The croissants are a decent GF option - probably one of the things I’ve missed the most! There are many other allergens catered to at this shop - so our DF and vegan family and friends can buy here too! The products are quite pricey, but that’s pretty standard for allergen friendly options.

First time here and so amazed with the variety! Had a hard time picking which dessert to have and decided on the blueberry danish, eclair and fruit tart. As a baker myself I must say I am impressed with the quality since gf baking is very finicky and more difficult than non-gf baking due to the lack of gluten which is what holds pastry together. As a result gf pastries usually break apart a lot easier than non-gf pastries.The fruit tart and eclair tastes exactly like non-gf and very delicious! The danish, of course you cannot compare to non-gf, was pretty good for what it was. I found it to be a bit soggy and I’m not sure if that is because it was frozen and not fresh out of the oven? There were also freezers filled with a variety of pastas, dumplings, pies, sausage rolls etc and other breads and sweets available.The only complaint I have is the lack of seating - there was only one table and two chairs. Most people came to take away.Being gluten intolerant this place is a godsend and I will be coming here very often! Thank you and please never close down.

Always have fantastic service and the coffee is always great and consistent! Chris and Annette are always friendly and helpful. It’s now my stop for a weekly coffee!
