Karara Rangeland Park
Beautiful area to camp and explore. This area is now owned maintained by DPAW. No facilities so you need to be self sufficient.

Karara Rangeland Park
Love this Land. Now owned by DPAW and the Ranger is a great Bloke doing a great job. We caught up with him putting a sign up at 5pm so he is a hardworking conscientious Bloke looking after everyone's interests. Last time we went through signage was a problem so good to see this getting sorted. Camping fees apply which must be done online, this helps with the upkeep of the place - which is pretty Big! Bring plenty of water

Karara Rangeland Park
Very typical of Rangeland country. Magnificent wildflowers from September to November. This rangeland is at the foot of the Yeow hills and includes the Monger's Lake. Formerly this land was a pastoral lease call Wariedah running 1000's of sheep . Wariedah lease was not renewed so the land returned to the crown, destocked and all man made water supply turned off leaving the land to the native wildlife and to return to it's original state.
