As a new customer walking in the door the only downside and I am purely trying to find a negative which I hope management will turn it to a positive in the future was the barmaids blatant look after the one she knows nomatter who is stood at the bar attitude. Now the meals great size serves my steak was a 9/10 the 1 point is for them to improve on learning the difference between garlic sauce that I asked for and the Worcestershire flavoured one I got overall 8 good meals beautiful atmosphere would recommend any day we will be back

Booked a table for 4. Arrived. Booking not in their book and we struggled to get a table. Ordered meals and waited. Waited and waited. Asked at the counter and they had lost the order. Apologised and said we ate on it. 90 min so far. Waited another 30 min to then discover that nothing had been done to fix the mistake. More apologies . To busy to fix us with a meal. 2 hours no food and they really did not give a dam. Today was supposed to be a nice wedding anniversary lunch. Never again. Got our refund and left. . One star only because you have to.

Beautiful old pub... situated at the base of the Gilies Range in Gordonvale.Friendly staff..Had a river running past the back and a deck overlooking it with restaurant seating..Quite a peaceful atmosphere...

Had take away Burgers with Chips. Meals were a great size and are really great compared to the last time we went for a meal a few months ago. Really hope the new chef stays on. Very happy that the small local pub is delivering the goods!!

I think it's the best pub in Australia. Old school with great live music on the weekends and good food 7 days a week with the kitchen open for lunch and dinner. Country style pub with friendly staff and excellent service

I was told to stop in a great lil pub on the way to the tablelands.... well not too glad I did.... the food was horrible sorry guys I know its under new ownership but won't last long travelling in this direction. Wings are the easiest food to cook yet were drier than aged beef jerky. chips old and dry.

This is a great pub with a fantastic location. Good drinks and prices. Beautiful old hotel situated along side the river. Stop in if your in the area.

The food was ordinary ... salad was lettuce with a couple of sliced red onion, no mash available & shortage of cutlery ... no knives to eat with .. had to use other friends. Been twice since ownership change & will not be recommending.

Love this space. The view out the back, so much cover for when it's raining and a beautiful valley. Swim in the river behind!
