Wonderful new lake at Ouyen in Victoria.Beautiful clear water with green grass around the lake. New public amenities including for disabled and elderly people. Has a great BBQ undercover area with 4 electric BBQs. This lake is regularly stocked with fish and they are legal catching size now.Great location for locals and for travellers in the area. In the near future there will be camping sites on the lake grounds.

Great little spot for a stop on your travels, as a playground and covered seated area. If you have kids pop in here to stretch the legs

Beautiful view, nice scenery, very clean area, you can walk around the lake, public toilets available, if you want to have warm food you have to get your own portable stove, BBQ facility was still in construction.

The lake area itself was beautiful. We went there late morning on a Monday. They had a nice toilet block but they were all locked, they have porta-potties set up all around the lake instead. There’s no shaded areas, no tables to sit at. The grass is full of bindi prickles. The potential is there but really it was a bit of a let down.

Very good family picnic spot. There is only one bbq area, however it is quite large, with three gas bbqs and a sink. Has two jetties, one from swimming, one for fishing. Needs a ladder at the floating jetty. Modern toilet block.

Lovely at sunset. Can see the fish sticking their heads up. Must bring a rod next time!
