Amazing quality contemporary Japanese food with a minimalistic and intimate setup - had a last minute booking but still got a beautiful corner table and service is amazing! Highly recommend miso eggplant!

Delicious food with a clean, simple, and modern atmosphere. We had the banquet, all dishes were terrific, and was excellent value. We rocked up without a reservation early at about 6pm on a Friday and they could only just fit us in, definitely recommend a reservation if you can. There were a lot of other things I would like to try on the menu so I'll definitely need to go back when I get a chance.

Outstanding Japanese in the middle of Clovelly. Amazing quality fish and food, sashimi is melt in your mouth. Only criticism would be that some of the portion sizes are quite small, especially to share between 4 people. Otherwise, well worth a visit for some tasty food.

So good Japanese restaurant. Excellent service and awesome food. Must try Tuna& arvo salad and wagyu steak with homemade butter! Definitely we will come back here again.

Lovely new Japanese restaurant near the neighbourhood. Excellent service and food were spot on. Steak was outstanding.I love the homemade mayonnaise sauce too.

Ate here last night …Wow Best Japanese food I have eaten anywhere. Service was timed beautifully ….the miso eggplant was sensational, every dish was an explosion of flavours and plated exquisitely. The ambiance is very welcoming and intimate unlike many of the best Japanese restaurants we eat at, because food comes first but Wagyuto has it all.Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. No longer needing to hike across town for the best Japanese food it’s now up the road and can’t wait to return. If you dine at Washoku in Vaucluse, you know your Japanese food …you must try Wagyuto …. It’s incredible!

We had an absolutely delicious meal here for our wedding anniversary. Everything we ate was cooked to perfection and great portions. Highly recommend getting the karaage chicken & king prawns. We will 100% be back again very soon. The staff were also very attentive & efficient.

Melt in the mouth pork belly yakitori and smoky wagyu.. with excellent and accommodating service to boot. Love that eastern suburb now has a quality Japanese food i can go back to.
