Lovely Cafe in Nimmitabel worth stopping at for meals and/or coffee. Great food selection and I had their home-made Vege Quiche for dinner and it was really tasty! Staff friendly and very helpful. Would definitely return!!

This is my second visit to this struggling cafe in a small village with two lunch stops. I had home made cottage pie; it was just fair fare; it lacked natural flavours. Then I had home-made apple pie; ummm, just the same. Coffee was ordinary too.Not wheelchair accessible. Very much old style cottage toilets were not very pleasant, poor accessability. Covid safe check in poster was hidden amongst many other posters.This was a three star experience for a village cafe. I’ve never been to the bakery across the road; I will next time.

Bertie's Cafe
Been stopping here on and off for years and the quality and service is always brilliant. Great bacon sarnie and they make excellent coffee and hot chocolate. Steak sanga is always a good bet too. Thanks once again for a tasty stop on the way to the coast. We will be back - oh and garden is a lovely spot on a nice day.

Best pies and sausage rolls, they are too good to miss. Cakes and slices are amazing too. Friendly service. It's our favourite place to stop at for a bite on our road trips.

Beautiful little café in a town full of history, I stumbled across Bertie's by accident and I'm so glad I did the food was fantastic the service great and the atmosphere was relaxing

Google got it right this time!The cauliflower pie and sausage roll were both great!Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.Also loved the little antique shop across the road from here.

Best bacon and egg roll ever. I love how they were still serving lunch at 3pm on a Sunday. Great service and great food. Great place to stop when travelling between the coast and Canberra.

Amazing place to eat.... fantastic coffee... clean and tidy.... smelled yummy from the moment you walked in the door...lovely bunch.... even brought a bag of Sandra's delicious coffee to take home .
