Stayed overnight in the cabin whilst working out that way. The cabin was very presentable, comfortable, clean, with everything you need plus a great view. The hosts were very welcoming and the hot breakfast was great!

So glad I found this little gem! Took my Mum here for Mother’s Day breakfast. It has such a warm, welcoming feel to it. The family who recently bought it provided a lovely service & the food was yummy & affordable. We will return! We loved walking around the farm & seeing the chickens, geese, horses & the dogs. Ruby the staffy is adorable! :)

Lovely quiet spot with great camping on the banks of the lake and further up the hill as well. Unfortunately it was very windy and cold when we were there so we didn't unload the kayak, but we plan to go back again. Our dogs loved it.

Sounds like an idyllic place but no amenities is a bit restrictive and non inclusive for many without being fully sufficient.Pity, Im sure alot of people would be missng out on this Hidden Gem.Id give more stars if amenities became available in the future....

Beautiful place with the most accommodating owners you will find. Fantastic views of the dam and ample camp sites. Very well maintained grounds at a reasonable price. Busy times in the restaurant can be a little crazy but these guys are only just starting out.A+++++
