Rogue BJJ is home to the most knowledgeable instructor I have ever had the pleasure of training under. The mat culture is superb, with encouraging and knowledgeable partners and a class structure that caters to students individual goals and capabilities. I highly recommend checking out Rogue regardless of your BJJ experience.

I was fortunate enough to learn BJJ from one of the instructors, Mike Armstrong. As a complete beginner, I really appreciated his patience and willingness to explain things in different ways to make them meaningful, and to modify techniques to work for different bodies. His teaching style is both trauma informed and engaging. The foundations I have learned helped me to appreciate a new sport, have assisted me with self-defence skills, and as I was already a boxer, have also helped create a pathway into MMA - which is something I am keen to enter. Highly recommend!

Rogue is a brilliantly welcoming place for Jiu Jitsu. The format makes use of the exceptional knowledge of the instructor and, so far, my game is improving because of it. The members are also welcoming and considerate to the needs of their training partners. There are broad themes and key concepts addressed in class, but there is also a significant portion dedicated to drilling and improving the problems that are troubling individuals. All in all, I highly recommend to those new or experienced, or people who need a safe space to train.
