Do not use this guy! Sold a faulty and old product to me which immediately failed. Was very argumentative and difficult to deal with when I brought the problem to him. Such terrible service with a bad result and I ended up with nothing but wasted time and money. Deal with at your own risk.

Went into the store recently as myself and my wife are interested in getting into kayaking as a hobby, and wanted something cost effective before we eventually trade up (if we enjoy doing it).Was welcomed to the store by one gentleman, before him mentioning the kayaks are downstairs and BJ was downstairs already and could help.BJ took the time to explain the various models they had, and what the differences were, including what the difference in prices would get us (and what the top of line would get us in the future if we ended up liking kayaking).At no time was there any pressure to buy the most expensive item, and he was polite and courteous, not to mention incredibly helpful.Ended up buying one of their Sportek kayaks, and a few other things, and we chatted about the rigid inflatable boats as well, and he remarked on the various materials on how the top of the line kayaks are built better than some boats.All in all a favourable shopping experience and will definitely be back to upgrade when/if we get the kayaking bug.Would be more than happy to recommend anyone to head to the store and have a look around.Only downside is parking is pretty tricky around there, but you can normally snag a street spot if you are patient.Thanks again Waves Overseas!

Ordered an Item (A mercury inflatable valued at $1200) on the 3rd Dec, paid premium shipping costs and have not received the item over 2 1/2 weeks later. No communications, dont answer their phones. Interactions with their selected courier is useless. I recommend avoiding this business.

These guys managed to get me a 112lb Minn Kota in 9 days to my door when there were none available in Australia. Best price and easy to deal with. Just in time for Christmas break.

I went there to purchase a canoe with all accessories, a substantial amount of money in anyone’s language. The owners have a repulsive appearance both in body and mouth. So they employ a nice sales person to deal with the customers. He does his best, but has these repugnant owners overseeing his every move. Father and sons are rude, greedy, unhelpful, asked me personal questions to sus out how much they can get from my pocket. On the way out make sure to look at their old guard dog. The old man looks exactly like him! Best I can say is stay away from this joint.

I bought my Motorguide XI5 from Waves. Prior to my purchase staff were very helpful answering any questions I had. The price I paid was better than the competition and the after sales service has been fantastic. Highly recommended.
