Just gotta add on to the slew of 5 star reviews for El Toro Margaret River!We came here about two weeks ago after being turned away by a multitude of other highly-ranked restaurants in town that had been recommended to us. So thankful for that, and that we ended up at El Toro in the end!I don't understand why this isn't THE restaurant everyone recommends visitors go to when they're in Margz! So underrated!We were sat at a nice table near the bar and kitchen, so service was easy to call for, and efficient! The sweet asian server quickly set us up with water and menus, and made good recommendations on food.We loved everything that we ordered. The picanha steak (the star of the meal), the fried squid (scrumptious), and also the tacos (so moreish)! Thank you for a warm welcome, a kind smile, and the amazing food you've served us. We will definitely be recommending El Toro to our friends when they visit Margz!

Great meal and atmosphere in the restaurant; staff were polite and helpful. We ordered a range of smaller plates which ended up being more than enough food. Each plate was delicious with the squid being our favourite. The salad was also delicious. We would definitely eat here again.

Last minute booking and couldn’t be happier. Turned out to be a special weekend for us but my partner had not booked a dinner. So lucky to get in here as people were lining up and that was a MONDAY! El Toro lives up to the reviews. The customer service was fabulous and staff were only too happy to interact and make a fuss of us.We were gutted to find out the famous picanha had run out from a busy weekend but the scotch fillet was also MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! Highly recommend the truffle mash. Chorizo and prawn starters too were so flavoursome! We will make it our business to come back for picanha! And book it well in advance!

That was the best meal we have had in years, no bull! Everything was cooked to perfection, cocktails delish, wait staff very friendly and helpful and spot on with their recommendations. Partner and I both left very happy and will be back!

What an amazing little place. We were not expecting to find such good Latina food in Margaret River but we found this place as our first stop. The whole menus looks amazing and everything we had was well prepared and sufficient portion for the price. We made a reservation and I would recommend it as they are quite busy. The drinks are good if you want a break from wine but if you are still looking to add wine to your meal they have you covered as well. We loved the steak, some of the best we have had and the tequila sour was amazing. The churros were amazing too. All good here and great service on top. Highly recommend!

Wifey and I enjoyed the food and ambience very much. Picanhas was so tender and flavourful. Definitely a must to order! The waiters are very attentive too! Do remember to reserve before hand as this place is always packed, for the very reason decent gourmet experience.

What a great place for a gathering! By far the best food we have eaten on our around Australia adventures. Service was great, meals divine. A great combination of flavours and textures. Highly recommend getting a few grill plates to share if in a group - we ordered 8 grill plates and a couple of side plates for 9 Adults - perfect amount! Medium Rare Sirlion Grill - Amazing. Thanks for the great night.

What an absolutely incredible gem of a restaurant. If in Margaret River this is a MUST. Incredible food and great service! It was honestly some of the best tapas I have ever eaten. A must try whether you're a Margaret River local or just passing through - book it... you will not regret it! We will be back.

El Toro Margaret River
We come to this restaurant about once or twice a year, and it never disappoints. The chef is in a league of his own. I am yet to find a restaurant in Perth that comes close to being as good as this. His combination of flavours from the meat and how they work with the garden vegetables is just terrific. I can only describe his dishes being “more-ish”, it’s those delicious hearty meals that when you start eating them you just want to keep eating more. Really a great chef, wish he lived in Perth.
